It's always nice to see scientifically-illiterate homophobes initiating discussions about science. You have absolutely no idea what science is, Popa - how could you? Logic and you went your separate ways years ago. Now you're entirely ruled by your emotions - like an angry child. That pill you've been poppin'? It comes out of your own ass, and will continue to pop back into your mouth until you spit it out.

I propose we throw out everything related to science and go back to the stone age.

Science does not give a **** whether you believe in it or not.

If anyone of you think you got a better method to learn from our universe than the scientific method then its becuase you have no idea on what it even is.

    Love these sorts of thread...

    [troll]

Scientists are people, too. With all that implies for human behaviour in all its glory.

Paradigm shifts are a bitch: scientists on both sides argue with a religious fervour until the evidence mounts up and there's a change in outlook that everyone then adopts as the new orthodoxy. Even then, confirmation bias keeps the argument running far longer than it should have done. People on both sides see what they want to see in the data. Phlogiston, relativity, quanta, string theory (old) anyone?

Scientists are supposed to be impartial seekers after truth and open to new ideas. Of course they are... But when it comes to getting grant funding for their theories and life's-works, they are as cut-throat as any business and just as likely to resort to dirty tricks to discredit 'the opposition'.

Non-scientists watch this with a bemused air 'cos it's all science, right?

    [/troll]

And before you ask, I'm an engineer - my glass is neither half full or half empty. It's also not quite the right size I need, but I stole it from you while you were arguing over a nuance in the data sets that may prove or disprove n-dimensional supersymmetry string theory.

Good post, wrong thread. This is just a place for Popa to troll science. If you invest yourself in actual discussion you will be sadly disappointed.

Hmmm Ya see heres the thing, you think im trolling either this forum or you/whoever and i think im being trolled by the Mystical science people you deem untouchable truth givers.

Did Quantum physics help anyone you know with their Queer identity? I suppose you would have to know the right people eh,like that trust-able gay Iraqi  non binary muslim fella.

I would be so happy if i could troll whole worlds like these  science/NewsOrgs do,boy would i have a laugh..i dont know how they arent walking around in a state of hysterics, may be they are

    "untouchable truth givers"?
I guess you're talking about TV and pop-sci scientists. Real scientists rarely make assertions about truth, anymore. These days they usually discuss their thoughts and observations in terms of "likelihood", which is a long way from the absolutism of "truth". As for queers and muslims...I'm not sure that quantum physics has much to say about them. Perhaps you could write a paper on it.
