We live inside a blackhole, and are racing towards the singularity. We are moving at an exhilarated rate which gives the illusion everything is moving away from us at a faster and faster rate. In fact the entire universe is collapsing. It's okay though because we are also just a computer simulation, and live in the matrix.

After binge watching youtube docs this is my conclusion.

Great evidence, great analysis and great conclusion. Job well done Big_Momma, now we all know the truth!

Pretty damn close imo. But i wouldn't be so sure on the collapsing part.

Everything here is oscillating, On average there is zero movement, But it gives the illusion of perpetual expansion and contraction :)

It is my belief that the universe is doing very similar trickery. And that even time is a static singular existence.

So we don't move with it, We surf a wave of propagation on an oscillating, yet static medium.

Gravity leaves black holes fast enough to 'capture' light.

Things can't move faster than light. But wave propagation isn't real movement

How would that explain red-shifting and stuff that usually is pointed towards as evidence for expansion? []

There would have to be an extra spatial dimension. Which would give the "movement" properties that "confirm" it as movement to most.

It is my belief that they would just exist as another more convincing layer of illusion....

For example, No other moment than now has ever been experienced. The past and future do not exist in the same way the present does. The past only exists in recorded information and the future only exists within a field of information containing multiple possibilities.

If only a single static moment is all that can ever exist then "movement" is an instantaneous jumping from static state to static state.. Like a videos frame rate. We perceive movement as fluid on a video, We perceive movement as fluid in reality...... Red-shifting appears fluid,... but i believe it is successive static information and therefore doesn't prove what it appears to prove. In the same way videos don't prove something is moving as the video is only made up of static images..... but to many they will say it proves movement :p

Don't worry, you're not that far off but be careful about who you tell the following information to, not everyone is as accepting as the rest of us...

Truth is we're the only know parasitic organism in existence with the knowledge of it's own hosts demise.

That, or were the cells of a much MUCH larger being and judging by the avg state of humanity I'd say that being be stooopid, possibly eating paste right now.

lmao :p Love the analogy. I believe, however, That existence is potentially limitless, when the right compromises are put in place.

(see, "Civilizations at the End of Time: Black Hole Farming" )

Small flawed simple explanation, but very, very astute and thought provoking. I also think it is something that has likely occurred a "near infinite" times over :p

Paradox math is messed up.... ya certainly can't underestimate it.... after-all.... it is safe to assume that it will never make sense

I'm pretty sure this thread started off as a joke, so I don't know if your replies are serious one's or just an addition.

However, if you're serious I'd love to engage! I'd feel silly doing so and then it boiling down to "I was joking around lol"

I love quantum mechanics, It is my belief that the specifics are very difficult to define. But the ramifications and certain factors can be simply expressed with analogies and metaphor. I believe the original post was put in a joking manor (and a little too definitive "We live inside a blackhole") But when taken in terms of possibility, OP is clearly talking high end physics and i would say that they have an above average understanding of some of the awkward concepts.... :p So no, I'm not joking. I spent years trying to discern relevance from some very simple equations..... they did not seem simple then!!!

High end physics is like a drug.... Knowledge is power, that power can be quite euphoric... I'm kinda using this game to deal with the side-effects/comedown .... keeps my mind busy without some of the intense stress it experiences with ermmmm "reality deduction"
