Terry Pratchett's worlds are rather wonderful plus a lot of his subtly works better when read aloud.
Big love for his stuff.

I don’t usually venture down here to the depths of the forums and to be honest I’ve never really been big on reading.
However, in the last year I have really taken to audiobooks and have read some series that have been recommended to me and that are really well known for their film adaptations including Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and the Maze Runner series.
The latest series I have enjoyed listening to is the first 2 books in the king killer chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss and I’m looking for more recommendations for good audiobooks in the fantasy genre. -

3 books out now, 4th in the works. I enjoyed them thoroughly.
The Wheel of time series by Robert Jordan is a commitment, at 14-15 books or so. But I started reading them as a kid, and fell in love. They are descriptive and deep, but there might be something like 20+ important characters, haha like I said, a commitmentLast edited by Father-Chains on 00:34:03 - 04/07/21 (3 years ago)“To us — richer and cleverer than everyone else!”

The dirty streets of heaven trilogy, the Miriam black novels by Chuck Wendig are great too. Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman is one my my favourite standalone novels. Black hole by Charles Burns is my favourite graphic novel, MW is another great graphic novel by Osamu Tezuka, it's quite violent though.
