I really love reading mythologies but I would not say I know so many things about it. So I just want who your favorite deity and why? Mine is from Greek Mythology. He is the king of the underworld, Hades. Why do I like him? Well, it's simple. He's just so awesome! <3 Who's yours?

All my knowledge comes from reading Percy Jackson so let's just say I don't have much knowledge. I really enjoy reading about all the different gods, though. I'm not sure if I have a favourite deity, Norse mythology is awesome.

My friend is a fan of Norse Mythology, especially Loki, but I'm more on Greek Mythology fan. But based on what I know, Norse mythology is also pretty epic!

I read a book on Norse mythology by Neil Gaiman, I liked it, and can recommend it. It tells them more as stories rather than elaborate explanations of what we know of Norse myths and how.

and stephen frys books on greek mythos and heroes i can also recommend. that takes an even more casual take on the stories, giving the gods modern speech patterns and such.
