Who else is tired of getting the same mission over and over, with the same few crappy items you can exchange points for. "Thanks for the Small medpack, and a spear...."

Sign here if you think torn can do better in regard of the missions category. Different missions, more than 8 shitty items to get. Let's get staff attention about this so hopefully they will do something.

I seriously doubt the majority of the player base is doing missions in hopes of buying the shitty items they can easily purchase on the item market. You do your mission and accumulate mission credits for the rare, non tradeable items such as books and weapon mods, perhaps even some special ammunition.

Your equipped weapons affect the chances of receiving special ammo. Equip a 5.56 and 9mm, and you may receive special ammo for either. No equipped guns, no special ammo.

I have read a guide ..... The writer says

"Those not doing daily Missions to get mission points are a fool. It is the only currency in game that cannot be bought with money. The weapons mods are only available from mission shop, and they are essential when you reach to a certain level of proficiency with weapons, and also a chance to get extra books instead of waiting monthly as a subscriber."

Those are the writers words.. more or less...

I believe even senior players who has all the mods and books are still doing it knowing how valuable the mission points are, in hope that in the future Ched will introduce something that requires lots of Mission Points.

Some of them, are taking every opportunity to push this idea as recent as the Halloween Maol relics case... Suggesting that these relics should be available to the masses with something like 500,000 mission points.

    Ched wasn't taking the bait...lol

08:14:56 - 20/11/24 You completed the Duke contract 'Hands Off' (Expert) and received $168,000 and 95 mission credits

    I make about 6-700 a  week.

I've got like 4 or 5 books from mission credits. The expert missions pay pretty good, although sometimes fairly difficult.

16:43:32 - 20/11/24 You completed the Duke contract 'Safari' (Expert) and received $264,000 and 123 mission credits

This. I'm not a subscriber, so most of the books I've got were from missions... And it was plenty of books.

Plus weapon mods. Lots of weapon mods.

I have every weapon mod, all but 1 book, and almost all of my special ammo has been bought with mission credits (250k special ammo used) with another 30k ammo on hand.

Only flaw with missions is too many targets have revives off. "Hit 3 in 10 minutes" missions gets f**ked by other people hospitalising my targets.

But yeah, once you're at my stage, missions are a bit shit tbf 🤣🤪

Targets with revives off can get really annoying, true. Like, hospitalise so-and-so for 12 hours, and other players are unkind enough to keep hospitalising that one, and I can't revive them and finish the darn thing already. Or I need to hit both their arms, and they're constantly in hospital.

There are fun moments, too. Like getting bountied for hospitalising a mission target. Err, that's the mission I got, what do you expect me to do?

Do you know if not equipping a weapon would therefore increase the odds of a book or Mod?
