I recently finished this mission too. I think it would be a funny idea if you could "interrogate" people even without this mission, and steal some of their bank/faction/Cayman/etc money.

I had to defeat some player to get the combination, but after 3 tries, he again REFUSES TO GIVE UP THE COMBINATION! Why am I wasting my energy?

You just have to keep at it. However, one of the developers suggested that if players think the ~40% drop rate is too low that they might make a suggestion topic about it to see about getting it changed in the future.

Took 8 attacks for me to get the numbers this was inside the safe lol As you fiddle with the knob the safe cracks open. You reach inside with trepidation and pull out Duke's Herpes Medication. 8*25 Energy, I just don't see it being worth the mission.

I generally prefer the missions not to be too easy and to take friends help into account too, but this mission has now taken me 3 days and I still havent completed it: Defeat and interrogate LeukyBear to find the code for Duke's safe I have attacked and tried to INTERROGATE my target 8-10 times in these 3 days, he has not been easy to beat and on top of that the success rate is extremely low. I read it to be 40% somewhere, but it seems way less. Maybe Im just unlucky, but making me waste 2-300 E for this and still not getting through, makes me think it needs to be altered a bit. Maybe set it to succeed at least after 5th try?

It took me two tries to do it, and the average is 5 to 6 tries from most people that I see talk about it. That's too high to be a pure 20% drop rate. Aurel1 has also confirmed it is about 40%.

Attacking some player a thousand times to get some code to get Duke his herpes meds and dog ashes all for 36 credits. I could have filled a new urn with vacuum dust and let him deal with his own genital outbreak. I thought ched posted about the mission rewards being more inline with the difficulty of the mission. Spending 125+ energy "interrogating" an inactive player for a code just seems like busy work/ a waste of time when compared to the effort put forth to obtain a measly 36 points. Come on ched! At least let me see what stupid shit the mission wants me to do so I can just decline instead of accepting. This feels like a mission that sugarvalves and Duke would cook up, annoying asses. ./end rant #FireSugarvalves #UnemploymentLine #StopWastingMyE
