Follow my missiong guide (or better yet, contribute) to stay on top of the difficulty levels, rewards, and missions you can expect. As well as a very detailed explanation of how the system works.

There is also a section to cover the range of costs of different purchasable items and advice on how to utilize mission credits. This guide is regularily updated.

In this same guide my second post covers advice on specific missions. I have done damn near every mission myself now, and understand the workings of all of the ones that have been unlocked (at least that people have eluded too.) If you need help with a specific mission and don't see the information, please just ask here and I'll not only answer on how to do it, I'll make sure the guide is updated to cover that specific mission.

The big question - are missions worth it?

There are three reasons why I will say yes.

    1. Sure it's going to become extremely expensive to earn merits through missions, but there are other merits that cost a lot more that people still go after. If you are a merit hunter, you really have no choice.

    2. It adds a new element of fun to the game. For a long time people complained that the game is getting boring. Now that there is totally new missions element, they just complain that it costs too much e and the rewards aren't good enough. Is the game worth playing if 100% of e goes into training? I think not.

    3. Rewards: don't take them for face value, and don't just assume weapon attachments are the only great promise in the future. Missions have the potential of earning more than cash and mission credits. Armor 2.0 is sure to have some exclusive purchases through the missions section and I'm guessing these will cost upwards of 10,000+ mission credits, so why not start banking them early? With future agents it won't just be about spending e as Ched has more than eluded too, the missions will be much more diverse than Duke's battle based missions. Hell, some might be earning faction respect instead of cash, or competition points, or new and original items. Not to mention, there are sure to be more merits obtained. Still don't think it's worth it? Well than you can suck it, cause I think all that is pretty damn awesome.
