Posted on 12:18:04 - 21/12/15 (8 years ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkI have had no problems accomplishing my missions so far. When it came to getting 12 hours of hosping the same person, I revived him twice... I was pissed because the first two times I hosped him for over 4 hours each so I assumed if I revived him again then I would be done with the mission... after the third attack I was as 11.80 hours! X( So not cool for my "I want it done now" attitude!

Posted on 13:08:07 - 21/12/15 (8 years ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkIt's not about being given easier targets it's about being given targets based on how strong they are same as everyone else. In ignoring what I wrote I see you also ignore the fact that I'm more bitchy about the non druggies than I am level holders part of it. At least if those were considered at all in the update I'd know it wasn't just about laziness.
Both level holding and playing as a non druggie are considered valid play styles but both are very unpopular simply because they're widely considered the harder or lesser of the two options. If they're already considered the weaker style of play what's the sense in releasing new content that by choice makes it harder? They chose the tough role but the mission release was an active decision to make it even harder on those players simply because it's the easy route for the devs.Last edited by Beerstein on 13:41:59 - 21/12/15 -

Posted on 17:32:34 - 21/12/15 (8 years ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkWell Im still stuck on the second mission of attacking the same player 3 times as he is constantly in hospital, this is fun.I ignored the non druggie part of your post simply because it was irrelevant - they would also get matched against players with similar battle stats if that is indeed the criteria for target matching in mission contracts, so whether they take drugs or not makes no difference when it comes to completing contracts at this stage.
Feel free to enlighten me as to how what I said above was inaccurate in any way though as you failed to do so above - right now you are being matched against players with similar battle stats and you're not liking it, so given the lack of level holders with similar battle stats / life the only possible solution would be to match you against weaker players with far less battle stats (ie ones that don't hit you anywhere near as hard as you hit them) to cater for your lack of life would it not?
p.s. I noted there was a bug that was acknowledged by aurel regarding a couple of specific contracts not matching up players against targets properly (ie. the target had stats in the hundreds of millions while the player in question had less than 1 mil iirc) - if you're in a similar situation then perhaps check with aurel?Last edited by Butters on 17:42:28 - 21/12/15I like apples doo doo doo...

Posted on 22:03:06 - 21/12/15 (8 years ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkI'm sure in a year or so skipping a few hard missions will be commonplace, depending on who you get matched to, and more importantly, how your stats happen to compare.
No need to get annoyed about a single mission this early on, the feeling of 'HAVE TO DO EVERY MISSION OR NONE AT ALL' will soon pass.Last edited by aerozol on 22:05:43 - 21/12/15 -

Posted on 00:09:29 - 22/12/15 (8 years ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkIntroduction: Duke
A fine start my young noble stallion, I see you have acquired quite a reputation within Torn already. I personally cannot abide by such places; I passed through the city briefly two summers past, che schifo! Never again.
I also see you have developed an agréable repartee with Mister Duke have you not? This is good. His errands may be rather egregious, but the game is just beginning. Continue with your work in this manner, for the pawn has made his first foray into battle, and before nightfall draws, he may have the chance to become a formidable delinquent king.
Complete 10 contracts for Duke (10 / 10)
- Agent standing increased
- 100 Mission credits received
- $25,000 received
Nu Merit FTW...!!! XD -

Posted on 03:57:14 - 22/12/15 (8 years ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkI got the mission "Rolling in it" where Duke promises that your mugging target is loaded and you can keep all the money you mug off of him. I naively assumed that the engine would provide an untouched target for your consumption. Nope.
ccwy mugged F3V3R for $2,551
Total waste of good energy. At least I didn't burn a vicodin on him. Sorry, the payouts in missions just aren't worth it. I'll finish up Duke, but if the next round (our physicist) doesn't provide missions that are at least somewhat interesting or lucrative, then I'll wander off and do something else. Running flowers is more fun than this, and running flowers is pretty boring. -

I'm not doing it for the money, I'm doing it for the action, for myself and certainly some others this game had become very weary and for me personally had dropped low on my daily priorities.
Having something to break the monotony is always nice and can bring back a bit of interest from some of us. -

What the hell do people expect from using a little E. Some people seem to think they are owed great things for using a tiny bit of E per day. Ridiculous......
