I've recently been looking for some nice rhythm games to play lately. Wondered if torn has a rhythm fanbase! If you have a favorite, do tell! I'm open to anything :)

I'm sure you've heard of games like Osu! and Guitar Hero and the likes, so I won't bore you with that lol. FlashFlashRevolution is really fun (if you have a flash emulator), Geometry Dash is quite good if you haven't tried it though it is fairly difficult, but my absolute favourite rhythm game outside the standards is called Crypt of the NecroDancer. It's a rogue-like, so it's got a lot of replayability, if that's your thing

OMG I LOVE CRYPT!! Currently stuck on zone 3 right now, because I always seem to die to the purple goblins, throwing my knife when they jump out of the way

Fitness boxing on nintendo switch 1+2 are strictly mediocre in execution. The motion controls aren't bad, but the timing when the icons reach the bar is not intuitive at all - once you do the practice modes you can detect which part of the punch or dodge is the vital part of the motion so you can score a perfect. So there's the physical stamina aspect, a hand-eye coordination aspect, and the inaccurate timing of the symbols all to struggle with.

The demo is free but there's not much more variety to the game than what's available in the demo apart from other songs and character skins. I would definitely advise to test the demo first - I did like 6 or 8 tracks and then the next day I was aching in new places i never ached before LOL.

Audiosurf on steam used to be hugely popular, and beatsaber for people with VR but I never tried that yet.

Audiosurf is a rhythm action game. It automatically generates a race track for any song on your computer, and you can drive the track in many game modes with the main gameplay mechanic to hit the colour blocks, and avoid the grey blocks on the track.

Iirc, you can also edit the timings to be custom using a text editor app like notepad for a track file. But maybe i remembered wrong.
