    Hi guys,

In real life in work we hve to Clock in (swipe a card before we start work) in the morning and clock out in the evening.

My idea is quite simple and also gives an employee a purpose to fulfil each day.

    Employees should log in daily.
Employees should enter the job page when they log in.
Employees should click the 'Clock In' button on the company home screen.
A timer will then begin to count down.
The timer will automatically stop after a certain time and then automatically change to 'Clocked Out'.
The time will relate to the time the person has been online logged into Torn. (Im thinking a 2 or 3 hour would be sufficient).
If the employee stays logged in for the full time they will get their FULL pay for that day plus the company will get a boost in sales/production/advertising.
(POSSIBLY: The director should be able to adjust this time required and the reward/pay/outcome that the employee gets if the time is completed).

    What do you think?

Horrible idea - you do realise torn isn't a game where players are expected to stay logged in constantly don't you?

It's more of a log in, do a few things and log out type of arrangement - at a guess I'd say that a significant proportion of players in torn nowadays bases their "activity" levels around the 5 hour periods it takes for their energy bar to refill (which is what I'd consider to be an "active" player).

I'm not going to downvote as it is a well thought out idea, but it doesn't fit in with Torn.

Please support my suggestion to refine the revive system here

I think this idea is too realistic that should not be used in game.

Butters, if that's al you do on Torn then you are not getting the full benefit out of playing it.
I spend over an hour a day sometimes up to 3-4hours if I'm browsing the forums.

I guess everyone is different, it was only a suggestion at the end of the day.
Im glad some people like the idea but I can see where people are coming from.
Yes it works in real life, No it's not needed on an online job-company game.

3000+ people played in the last hour acording to city stats. The graph also shows consistency and are mostly over 3k people on per hour every day. It's not impossible for people to play longer than a couple of hours.

    I guess I must a REALLY active player :P

    Thanks ð´
