    My suggestion is primarily aimed at making war easier and more optimized.
    In Attacking 2.0 it's great that we can have group attacks. However, it's very hard to quickly identify who initiated an attack you stumbled onto. You pretty much have to scroll to the bottom of the attack log and see a bunch of text all massed together. That sounds simple enough, but when you are in war, trying to fend off would-be-attackers from your faction, or, prevent yourself from stealing an attack away from a faction mate (and wasting E) the last thing you want to do is have to hunt all that down. The 10-12 seconds you spend doing all that can be critical in making a decision.

    My suggestion is simple to implement, will do away with all ambiguity and I can't imagine too many will have a problem with it.

    I've included images below that give an example of both what it looks like to encounter a current fight with an enemy (seen in red) attacking your faction mate (seen in green) and your faction mate (green) attacking an enemy (red).

    EDIT (23.2.15) - Neutral attackers/attackees should be (IMO) in dark grey. Since this is really a suggestion in regard to war, I feel that the coloUrs green and red should relate to faction mates and war base enemies respectively. So anyone that happens to stumble in, that falls under neither category, should be dark grey to infer neutral.

    This is all seen before the attack occurs. On the screen that currently gives you the option to join the attack or not.
    Mind you, this is not giving up information that you don't already have access to; it simply makes that information quicker and easier to read/understand. "Do I join this fight and save my mate?" . "Do I walk away and let my mate take the fight that he started?"

    Both are easily and readily there to see and make a decision on in less than a second's time with my suggestion.

    That's no fun, I love it when 6 or more fools try and hit me at the same time.  Xmas eve I had 7 in total hitting me at the same time it was a riot.   Your suggestion eliminates that.  Imagine the fight on Scrooge, perfect example.   I say if they implement this then the target should have the same benefit to see who is attacking you and that way you have the option of flying or being jailed.  Its only fair.  Interesting idea however. I will sustain from rating at this time.

    Fun and practical sometimes don't work well together in war :P I can see your point, but really the information is already available. True, it's up to them to go find it at the bottom.  I can see where your comment does lead to less "fools" all coming after you at once  :)

    I appreciate you holding off on rating all the same :) Very fair of you.

    Remember, this also prevents you from wasting E and/or stealing your mate's attack he/she initiated :)

    Though in fairness the real problem with this idea of this is the fact attacks will be able to be tracked. You could literally have someone sitting in watching someone in the initiate screen and know exactly who's attacking who. People would be able to stalk retals this way too without costing energy. 

    So I think the idea itself I understand why it would be helpful, but it has a whole exploitable side from what I can see.

    Yeah but you can already do that currently :) when choosing to join a fight you can see who's engaged already. 
    So basically this info already exists on this page. It's just that it's way at the bottom. ;)

    One way around what you are saying (and a fix to the current system) is to have a timer of sorts. You have so many seconds to join the fight/start an attack. Then it boots you off the join screen. I'd be fine with that.

    But again, i'm not offering up anything that can't already be seen from the "join attack" page. You can already see if an opponent is engaged for retals/saving a faction member.
