I'm pretty discouraged with my dieting attempts at the moment. My goal is to consume 3000+ calories a day: 113g carbs, 300g protein, 150g fat. Things are so bad over here that I'm lying to âª#myfitnesspal⬠app and not reporting my exercise I do because it takes away from my consumed calorie count for the day which puts me WAY under my weekly calorie goal. Besides not working out, eatting garbage food, or continuing to lie to the app, does anyone have an idea for how I can get more calories in a day while staying semi-true to a Paleo diet plan? I'm getting Really tired of eatting all the time without reaching my calorie needs...

My goal is to compete in the 2015 Max Muscle classic for Physique. I am 6'0, around 203, and am 9 to 10% body fat... I need some help for this last bulk push and then come March sometime I will be cutting my calorie intake to prepare for the show in April.

Helpful and relevant advice is welcomed :(

Hey, I'm going to try to keep this as brief as possible, but feel free to mail me for anymore information/advice.
My first point is the 300g of protein; this seems a bit excessive and it's likely the majority will be wasted away when you urinate.
Second point is that digestion takes around 6-8 hours and then we become hungry again, by eating smaller meals or liquid meals such as protein shakes the digestion process decreases to 3-6 hours, making us feel hungry quicker.

To conclude, increase carbohydrate intake (perhaps lower protein intake if you feel the excess amount isn't benefiting you maximally) and to increase the amount of liquid meals, such as protein shakes in order for you to feel hungrier, which will make it easier for you to consume more food, thus increasing caloric intake.

You are eating way too much fat. 150g of fat is almost half of your daily intake of 3k calories which is bad for your health. But if you want to eat more calories from protein and fats then I suggest eggs, bacon, and chicken wings. Eating 10 eggs a day will equal about 800 calories which includes 50 grams of fat and 60 grams of protein. Bacon and chicken wings have no carbs but high in fat and protein. I would also suggest peanut butter but it isn't paleo.

You cant take 300g of protein 150 fat etc. to your blood stream daily...

What do you exactly eat? What kind of fat and carbs do you eat? Do you use supplements? Which body type you want and how much and how do you workout (compound, hypertrophy etc.)?

300g of protein would be good if you would weight 120kgs(265lb), have low fat and trained hard.
The overgoing protein isnt stored in body it transforms in to glucose aka sugar.
At your weight I would suggest around 200g of protein a day.
    Good luck!

I agree with the comments on the too much protein, you are wasting 300g away. Nuts are indeed a great method for proteins as well as essential oils and calories that you are looking for. I would personally suggest stepping a little away from the paleo diet, (recent studies are discrediting it's health benefits, although it isn't all that bad for your intent) but stick to white meats, protein shakes, eggs, etc... but don't forget broccoli for its fiber and protein. Really, you don't need to go crazy to get what you need. If you're worried about caloric content, have a bowl of ice cream. Of course, you will be eating your fair share of carbs with all of that I'm sure.
