The height of effortless hip vibes, Leith comes from the Gaelic llaith, meaning "wet"—a reference to the main river that flows into the district. llaith may not encompass Leith's edgy style, but its close proximity to the Arabic laith, "lion," more than makes up for it.

Posted on 01:29:26 - 25/11/23 (11 months ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkIt is believed that the Leiths that migrated to Scotland originated from France. The name then being De Leyth. During the Fourteenth Century they appeared around Midlothian and almost certainly took their name from the port at Edinburgh (Leith Port).
The Leith Clan was settled in Aberdeenshire by the reign of Alexander III. The Leith- Hay family of Leith Hall are directly descended from William Leith of Barnes, Provost of Aberdeen in the reign of David Bruce, and Steward of the royal household of Queen Joan.

Being related to some stuffy aristocratic doesn’t mean much, you’re no better or worse for so called noble blood.why can’t we all just get along?

To quote George Carlin, 'It's a big club, and you ain't in it.' We are only equals in the contemporary sense; in contrast, in the traditional world, that couldn't be further from the truth. We are living in an era where two parallel worlds operate simultaneously, and there is a shift occurring—one world is rising as the other is in decay. This isn't the first time this has happened; it occurred during enlightenment rise, and it happened during the fall of Rome. the hindus have a word for it Kali Yuga.
I told Steppenwulf that I might work on an essay that's a bit more accessible to normies, something like 'NRx for Dummies.' I feel that a lot is lost on most people when it comes to how we NRx traditionalists view the contemporary world. You could compare that to how an atheist might struggle to conceptualize the idea of spirit. How can a modernist view things from our perspective, considering they are marinated in the Enlightenment and know little else? More importantly, they are driving the society over a cliff and are blind to it unlike us. And from our perspective we see a window of opportunity to seize power.Last edited by broleaf on 05:00:35 - 25/11/23 (11 months ago)NRx. Reject Modernity return to: Tradition, Monarchy, Spirit.
