As for what a country is, It's a group of people who call a plot of land theirs and take ownership of it. On to answering your question; But before that, I have a question of my own.

Do you think that the definition of a country would make the zionist nations' atrocities towards the people of Palestine any different? Because, the land the Zionists were shown as their "plot of land" to live in, it was someone else's land. People were living there. Even if Palestine were under the Brits, it still was the Palestinians' land. There were people living there creating all sorts of hell for the Brits. Which apparently is why the Brits gave up and decided to go back to their own country. And to begin with, that land wasn't theirs to give. This means, the beginning of what is now known as Israel is wrong. Just like the Chagos issue.

As for what a country is, It's a group of people who call a plot of land theirs and take ownership of it. But this plot of land, if it belongs to someone else, they will always be the occupying force there until they kill or expel everyone from that territory or do some other barbaric act of erasing whatever and whoever was there before them. Making sense? Hope it does. Of not, search the Geneva Conventions and its laws that the Zionists are breaking.

Ud have to be 75 years old to even been born and nearly 95 to have been an adult in 1948. Will it change anything in the next 10ish years when the last participant from Israel's founding is gone?

I understand why palestinians wouldn't want to give up and why they will likely never change their minds on this. It seems to me palestinians could have gaza and most of, if not all, of the west bank to build something of their own if they could find a way to peace.
