A political investigation. The mueller report literally said there was no evidence of collusion or conspiracy and they still impeached him.

From the very start it was a ginned up political investigation by the FBI. FBI agents even got caught texting about the investigation as an “insurance policy” in case trump wins. They know from the first month of the investigation he didn’t do it but kept it going for years for political purposes- led by noted partisan hack Andy McCabe (haha- lost his pension over this malfeasance).

The only reason they told the truth about it in the end was that it was taken out of the hands of the FBI and investigated by an independent special prosecutor- who actually told the truth, much to the horror of democrats all over the country who immediately started trashing the special prosecutor for not doing their political bidding.

But your point is decidedly misleading, Republicans started this trend of politically motivated congressional investigations after Bush Sr. Got his ass handed to him at the polls via Newton Gingrich and when the MVA helped increase voter turnout, they spun it as electoral fraud and they repeated the refrain of Democratic corruption for a variety of instances since '92-94 despite the opposite number of republican facing criminal wrongdoing.

Cheney's Halliburton contract fixing is leaps and bounds more corrupt then current Potus's son's business activities.

Jared Kushner's foreign policy junkets and the former Post Office building at 10k/night is pretty obviously a pay for access situation.

You want to talk about foreign intervention in America's domestic arena, yet you don't want to even mention clear and present examples of actual memberds of the current administration.
