They weren't political reasons you oaf.

    rhcp [760794]

Right right just like how bill clintons impeachment was really about the republicans opposition to blowjobs

    Sagramor [1908287]

Tell us what it was about

    rhcp [760794]

A political investigation. The mueller report literally said there was no evidence of collusion or conspiracy and they still impeached him.

From the very start it was a ginned up political investigation by the FBI. FBI agents even got caught texting about the investigation as an “insurance policy” in case trump wins. They know from the first month of the investigation he didn’t do it but kept it going for years for political purposes- led by noted partisan hack Andy McCabe (haha- lost his pension over this malfeasance).

The only reason they told the truth about it in the end was that it was taken out of the hands of the FBI and investigated by an independent special prosecutor- who actually told the truth, much to the horror of democrats all over the country who immediately started trashing the special prosecutor for not doing their political bidding.

    Kajal [2542083]

The question was what the Clinton impeachment was about though

Edit: when you hosp me for stuff I write, you should leave a note with a link to the post so i know which part I'm being shamed for, it's hard to keep track

    Sagramor [1908287]

Right over their heads. Going to have to put foam pads on the monkey bars at this point.
I assumed you were asking about trump- the Clinton impeachment was so blatantly political I figured even you knew that...

Do you think I have some kind of affinity for the republicans? My point was that both sides do political investigations and impeachments. Both parties are useless on the issues and they spend most of their time making up charges about each other. It’s sad that you’re so taken in by the trump ones.

Lol dude, you are butthurt as soon as somebody says something negative about Trump, but you are all the time trying to frame Biden.

Of course you have an affinity with the republicans, as El would say, even Stevie Wonder could see that.

But your point is decidedly misleading, Republicans started this trend of politically motivated congressional investigations after Bush Sr. Got his ass handed to him at the polls via Newton Gingrich and when the MVA helped increase voter turnout, they spun it as electoral fraud and they repeated the refrain of Democratic corruption for a variety of instances since '92-94 despite the opposite number of republican facing criminal wrongdoing.

Cheney's Halliburton contract fixing is leaps and bounds more corrupt then current Potus's son's business activities.

Jared Kushner's foreign policy junkets and the former Post Office building at 10k/night is pretty obviously a pay for access situation.

You want to talk about foreign intervention in America's domestic arena, yet you don't want to even mention clear and present examples of actual memberds of the current administration.

    Nah, you're a patsy.

Dems aren't innocent in the matter of public office holding, they both engage in self-dealing which is a problem.

GOP raise these investigations as a means of shifting public opinion, not for any particular desire to seek out justice. Dems engage in congressional investigations when the means of legitimate investigations are stymied by political corruption at the FBI and Defense Department. Happened under Nixon, Reagan, Bushes, Trump. Each time a Republican president gets in, they impede investigations. Barr did it during two completely separate administrations over two decades.

The Hunter Biden laptop investigation is a hopelessly wasteful amount of time and money that does precisely zero as a check and balance to the executive branch or to furthering a political agenda that involves actual f**king policies.

That again is the issue, the country just gave (well the SC did by sending out unsigned passes to illegally gerrymandered states to use the maps anyways) the GOP a majority in the House and rather then pursue actual legislative business that help Americans, they're diving into an investigation that will help nobody. Won't help the GOP, won't help the Bidens, won't help folks down on main street, etc.

So maybe ask yourself why they would do it?

    Lol.

    Let's look at history:

Trump imeached: planning a coup against our nation

Trump impeached: working with and hiding communications with a foreign advesary

Clinton impeached: originally nothing, then found a blow job.

Andrew Johnson: violating office of Tenure act and some other pre 1868 laws.

Doesn't seem like what you say is true.

The last few republican led "investigations":

Clinton emails: nothing found. Over 100 hours of testimony

    Benghazi: nothing found

    Obamas great mustard incident: lol

So either you don't know shit, are regurgitating bullshit, or all the above.

Investigation was launched today by the House of Congress into the possible criminal activities of the Biden family, and just how far Joe's hand was down in the Corruption Cookie Jar.

Think he's going to get Impeached?

I would love to see these perverted losers jailed tbh.

This is going to be our political reality until the end of time: whenever the other party takes the House at midterms, the first thing they will do is launch impeachment investigations so they can talk about it when the president goes for a second term.
    No - only the Republicans.

Barring whether or not any of this is true.... the question to be asked is: Do Republicans want to set the precedent for impeaching folks for stuff that occurred when they were not president? This is especially relevant now that the other guy has announced a 3rd presidential run.

    rhcp [760794]
