    Hoch [1772040]

In all fairness, pop cans, dolls, etc. were all used to conceal explosives even during Vietnam War.

    Al-Naqib [2248212]

    What is your point

    dunmugmeh [538353]

The US has 'carpet bombed' since world war 2.

They claim to be more 'disciplined' in their target selection now.

They do try to 'do the right thing' But they still have it wrong. Big time.

The US screwed up vietnam so bad it isnt funny big time. Their carpet bombing was a big injustice. All this time later there are still people getting cancer because of agent orange. Not so good.

I saw a news article a number of years ago. The US has dropped more bombs in afghanistan than they did in vietnam.

The US carpet bombed afghanistan. And there was little/no target selection ie making sure they bombed the bad guys instead of civilians. Not so good to say the least.

When the US 'select targets' to bomb a lot of the time they really dont have a clue. They are just hoping its a 'good' target ...

Some of the time they do get the right target. Other times they dont ....

More civilians died because of US bombing in Afghanistan than died in the actual fighting on the ground. A LOT more ...

    It isnt good enough.

I live in the UK. The US's attitude towards 'collateral' damage overseas IS NOT good enough. Nowhere anywhere good enough..

They carpet bomb to get 1 or a few bad guys and kill 50 civilians when doing it ..

    Pathetic.

    Al-Naqib [2248212]

Guess if you're the top dog no one can stand up to you

    dunmugmeh [538353]

I am english and i like the USA.

But their attitude when conducting 'military adventures' overseas stinks BIG TIME.

It just isnt good enough at all.

Imagine what someone who doesnt like the US feels .....

Terrorists dont grow on trees .. They are brainwashed by 'preacher' men to 'fix' injustices which are happening... ie lots of civilians dieing...

Since world war 2 every US 'military adventure' has ended in a LOT of people being VERY unhappy with the US.

The US should just back off and maintain a defensive position. NO 'adventures' at all because it causes more trouble than its worth ...

    Al-Naqib [2248212]

This airstrike just radicalized someone though. We pretty much just saw the birth of a new Taliban fighter.
It will be used in 'recruitment' videos for years .... The same with many other incidents which received less/no publicity ...

The US are shooting themselves in the foot every time they act without proper intelligence ...

The US did carpet bomb Afghanistan.

They where trying to get the right target when they launched that attack. They got it badly badly wrong ....

Imagine how bad their errors where when they where just 'hoping' to get a good target ...

They launched hundreds/thousands of bombing missions because 'it looked right'

Most of the people who died where civilians. 10s of thousands of them ... maybe more.

Its not good even thinking about it ...

Forum signatures make my eyes hurt so i have turned them off.

It's hard to believe this wasn't intentional. Some funny business is going on for sure. There's just no way that their intelligence is that bad a for a nation that is so well developed at least military wise.

    No.

The US like to pretend they are high tech and can see everything. They arent. Its nowhere anywhere near that.

The US made a LOT of mistakes like this in Afghanistan. This incident received publicity because it was at the end of their time in Afghanistan.

They made hundreds more mistakes like this when bombing Afghanistan. It might be thousands of errors like this ..

High tech doesnt mean the US can see things clearly from thousands of miles away accurately. There is LITTLE to no accuracy. The cameras from drones etc get nice images. But not good enough images to know for sure what they are seeing ...

Toyota vehicles are used throughout the world including afghanistan ...

The resolution on drones wont be good enough to tell the difference between 2 toyota pickup trucks in the same colour ...

there are a LOT of white toyota pick up trucks in the world including in afghanistan...

The US are FAR to gung ho when on 'adventures' overseas. Thats why i said further up they should just have a defensive posture.

The 'aggression' does nothing other than antagonize people ...

    Military intelligence is a joke.

Those at the top of the pyramid call the shots.

The military pulls the trigger and drops the bombs.

If they want to kill folks with no impunity. There is nothing that can be done about it.

Have to bring "democracy" to everyone.

The US refuses to be a member of the ICC, but demands other to play by its rules.

Like you said, it's nice to be the big dog until you've bitten off more than you could chew. US is/has been declining the past 20 years and will be replace on the totem pole soon.

sadly a lot of americans are arrogant and they think everything always goes swimmingly well when you deploy your forces overseas.

I'd say there would have been more outrage if Americans weren't so damned use to it. Of course, there will be those on the right to use this for political gain. It's all a part of the game, and its shitty.

To be honest, I try not to think about the 7 kids killed. The idea makes me sick. And all the General on TV could do was say "sorry, my bad. Didn't mean to blow up that 2 year old and their family."

We're politically in a f**ked up place. Twitter was split between dumbasses on the right screeching "BIDEN KILLED KIDS, THAT MONSTER" and Leftist shit heads saying insane shit like "He's heroic to admit they made a mistake and for being so transparent".

Are politics this f**ked up around the world? Surely it can't be excusive to America.

No, they'll get their asses on live TV and saying they're doing it in the name of "Freedom".

Most idiots eat that shit up, and the smarter ones know that this country wants something from the country we attack.

Yeah, because if you make up a bold statement like that, you might want to add some evidence. I know no leftists who will defend murdering kids

Edit: btw, I can see some liberals doing this, it won't surprise me, but I guess the most of them even won't do that.

    Al-Naqib [2248212]

This airstrike just radicalized someone though. We pretty much just saw the birth of a new Taliban fighter.
Can we even prove it's real and not just a political distraction from how senile Biden is and how stupid the cronies behind him are...

    Also

Hey remember when wiki leaks reported about US drone operators killing children and then we went after Assange for treason even though he isnt even a US citizen..so charges had to change and change and change to fit narratives.

Also what ever happened to the dirt farmers we kidnapped and shoved in gotmo? Now that osman is dead and were done with afganistan , how much longer do we need to keep those dirt farmers?

    Also also,
I seriously doubt we have anything at all to fear from any of them what so ever.

I have jumped international borders. It's not hard and it ain't watched by drones. Guns and gun powder are extremely easy to get in the USA, anyone can make a bomb here. No need to import anything.

    So

If jihadi Joe was honestly real and honestly want to come here and commit max damage and max terror all he really has to do is come here and do it. The recipies for TNT and c4 are online and accurate. C3 is easier but not as stable as c4 but who cares when life dont matter. What would be optimus targets for max demoralization? Schools , hospitals and power plants. Cause the aim would be the peoples psyche rather than military might.

Course that's completely convoluted and my government already has all those bases covered.

    What is there?

There is literally nothing except one liberal saying something which I'm not even sure is sarcastic or not. If it's serious this person is a horrible person and certainly not a leftist

Where do you see any leftists claiming that he is a hero for saying it, seriously? Why do you lie about it?

Edit: Annoying isn't it, people actually asking for evidence of the statements you make....

You know which newspaper lead to the situation that they had to admit they killed civilians, The New York Times, they were the ones investigating this and thanks to them we know what happened.

This is me, I'm not speaking for anyone else:

When I heard Obama used drones, I didn't give a f**k. Most on the right didn't care either, yet bitched about it, and I could see through their bullshit.

When I heard drones killed civilians, I lost it. I don't and never will co sign f**k shit, "collateral damage", etc from any sitting president....even if I voted for them.

    You need another example?

When Obama flipped his position on gays getting married before his second term? I thought it was bullshit. I was happy for them, but I could see he was doing it for the votes.

In any case, I don't know if it's personal ego, ya Torn egos, or whatever...but a lot of you can't admit when a guy you like (or voted for) f**ks up in either party.

The words "collateral damage" is literally marketing, because it doesn't sound as bad as civilian casualties, people literally thought about this to make it sound better than it is and got paid for it.

    Bush did it
    Obama did it
    Trump did it
    And Biden does it.

Their is an ocean of difference between civilian casualties and targeting civilians purposefully.

We do that. It is sick and I disavow it , yet I'm aware of just how freaking often we do it. At home and abroad.
