Most voted ever is not the same as most popular, since there are (much) more humans than 50 years ago....

I think this is something you need to elaborate on a LOT.

Errors have been made but some of them where made by Trump. He signed the deal with the Taliban 'a while ago' now.

The US and partners should have got their afghan friends out the day after the deal was signed ...

A lot of this stinks. BIG TIME. The afghans who worked for the westerns military forces have been betrayed.

This isnt just the US. A lot of western nations had troops in afghanistan it wasnt just The USA. Canada, The UK and most other EU nations had troops there, though obviously some only had small numbers in the mission.

The withdrawal has been handled VERY badly, by all of us not just the USA. The afghan security guards, interpreters should have been 'quietly' relocated many many many months ago etc. The mess at Kabul airport what is going on now is NOT good enough. It should have been done on the quiet, gradually over the last few months..

Im not impressed and betrayal is the right word to use here.

Forum signatures make my eyes hurt so i have turned them off.

So many people complained that Obama was not doing anything about the border. Though at the time he had the most deportations of any other president, and he was trying to get some fencing in place. But he got so much flak and people just wanted to complain about him no matter what. As for some of what Trump did at the border he separated more kids because he interpreted the law that they should be removed because because he figured they were all criminals and that is more so what the complaints were about but you have the corporate media misleading everyone so they do not listen to the real complaints.

What are you talking about that has nothing to do with what I was talking about. The whole inviting kids across the border is a new thing. I was talking about separating kids from their parents. You are the excrement for twisting what I said into something I did not.

I watch the news everyday normally and have done for well over 30 years.

I am not impressed with the cowardice and betrayal what has gone on in afghanistan.

We have behaved in a cowardly manner in afghanistan. The western nations should have got our good afghan friends out of there as soon as Trump signed the withdrawal deal with the Taliban.

Those afghans who signed up to help the US, Canada and EU nations should have been offered refuge months ago.

I do watch the news everyday. Every single day. But i cant watch it anymore whilst this is going on. Its that bad i really do feel that bad about it.

What is happening now will be a permanent black mark on western nations.

It is a disaster and i wont be watching the news whilst it developes

This should have been sorted out months ago.

A lot of 'leaders' in the world are yes men. Yes men. They say yes to everything without even looking ...

That is really really bad. We are seeing that now. At times of war/conflict you do need real leaders in charge of your country....

Sadly there are a LOT of yes men who 'rule' western nations.

They do and say the 'right things' despite having looked at it it isnt right.

    Despicable.

I agree a lot with what you say, but it's also the corrupt Afghan army that lead to this, they could have beaten the Taliban since they were with about 5 times as much soldiers with more modern equipment, but they were not united, they failed their people.

Western nations should never have been there, it was a revenge intervention for 9/11 and the afghan people who were innocent paid the highest price, the whole humanitarian mission was just an excuse for what western nations did to that country, that has never been the goal in the first place, and that is why it failed so badly, if they really wanted to help the country so badly, they could have pulled it off.

    https://www.cfr.org/backgrounder/us-taliban-peace-deal-agreement-afghanistan-war

Ad you can see, Trump negotiated with terrorists. And then those terrorists didn't do shit on that list....

    ::surprise pikachu::

So yes, he is to blame quite a bit.

So is Biden. For not dealing with the Intelligence properly.

So did Obama, for kicking the can down the road, when he had overwhelming popularity with the military.

But mostly Bush, and Co. They made the profit machine for an industry that needs severe cut backs to. And extreme restructuring.

So would you like to provide sources for your baseless shit? Or you wanna start making more informed comments from now on? This shit is getting old.

Afghanistan has sadly always been a 'crap hole'

Yes 'we' ie Nato should have never have gone there, but we 'went' there.

The way we are leaving is NOT good enough ..

Describing it as a train wreck is being kind. It is far far worse than that...

Literally 'everything' is and always has been 'broken' in afghanistan and it will remain so ...

Our 'leaders' i suspect dont really look at what is going on in the world around them...

It is a bad high risk job joining the military and i dont like saying this but the NATO troops who died/got maimed in afghanstian did it for 'nothing'

Afghanistan is and always will be a 'crap hole' sadly.

Im not going to bother watching the news anymore until this has all been 'swept under the carpet' a few months from now....

The withdrawal should have been done quietly and with more dignity. The mess which is going on now is pathetic.

Forum signatures make my eyes hurt so i have turned them off.

    RedRocket_Aath [2200354]

errors were made on trumps term but some of them were made by obama.... obama said he wanted to build the wall no one cared.... obama wanted to crack down on immigration and put kids in cages and no one cared..... all of trumps faults too were made by obama but no one cares... and now bidens doing the same stuff trump did but more of it and adding worse things to the list and yall coming along saying "but what about trump" lol

    Bhappychap [2270497]

    Sources please.

    RedRocket_Aath [2200354]

same.... sources to prove that trump was somehow involved in this afghan mess please.... you lot made that claim first and i only commented to mirror your deflections in the same way, so mirroring again, sources please for your blame of trump in bidens mess....

    Bhappychap [2270497]

    So no sources.

theres nothing baseless about anything. trump did say he will withdraw troops, and that was a good thing.... then biden cancelled the withdrawl when he got in and said he will send more troops in.... to syria was it? .... why syria? starting new endless pointless wars pf aggression? lol plus then started to bomb more people in the middle east.

so question is, why does biden withdraw now when he first went against trumps planned withdrawl?

is it perhaps because he got told to stop his shit and withdraw because the president of america is not infact the true leader but some shadow leader is in charge and that is why no matter who is president shit remains the same and if the new pres decides to do something different he soon gets made to know whos in charge really and then goes back to doing the same shit as previous leader?
