    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_Indian_general_strike

The strike was organized by 10 trade unions across the country and was supported by the Indian National Congress, Communist Party of India, Communist Party of India (Marxist), and other left-wing parties.[1][2][3] Trade unions claim 250 million (25 crore) people took part in the strike,[4][5] which Jacobin says would make it arguably the largest in history.[6]

The initial, 24-hour general strike took place all across India. Five states – Kerala, Puducherry, Odisha, Assam and Telangana – were completely shut down.[14] Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh reported a 100% strike.[14]

Good for them! The article doesn't seem to mention outcomes at all; some other things I'm reading seem to suggest it worked well, but maybe someone can confirm that for me.

I'm not dead sure myself, but cool that a general strike does actually rise up against ultranationalism in at least some countries.

Going off of this study, one can draw a logical conclusion that the soy boy meme is real.

    edit:

    further reading:

"The study found that two scoops of pure soy protein powder (56 grams) decreased blood testosterone levels by 19 percent after four weeks. T levels increased within two weeks of skipping the protein."

The soy thing is absolute bunk pushed by people who are ironically in the business of selling soy to men, but hey, I'm sure the Republican Party is great at turning Democrats into reds, just not to its own benefit.

If you actually read the Men's Journal article you link, you'd see it shoots down the claims you're trying to use it to support, and the pull quote you've got there follows this:

Peterson refers to one small study without a control group that included young healthy males.
In other words, it's not a reliable source of information.

Your claim relies on a faulty understanding of the effects of both phytoestrogen and testosterone, and if dosing people up with testosterone really does cause them to hold a certain worldview, that doesn't really say much for that worldview.

If anyone's interested in the facts, Hbomberguy has already debunked this myth at length:

I edited my post when I realized he actually gives a link debunking it in his own post and just pretends it's supporting it by taking a quote out of context. Maybe he's tacitly admitting that he formed his current views by taking so many steroids that it interfered with his cognition.
