In the UK everybody is entitled to a minimum of 5.6 weeks paid leave by law, not just government employees. That's 28 days a year paid by the employer for a full time worker working 5 days a week.

Think it’s just one of these things that other countries can manage but the US, the apparent, best country in the world just can’t because of reasons which are definitely not greedy capitalist class.

Rather than working on passing meaningful labor law reform in the usa, the union leaders at the height of their power just kept focusing on consolidating their own power.

Lol, since my work had to take the Union, my salary has been raised over 30%. And It have other benefits now, all within 1.5 years, also got much money since it turned out they had to raise my salary for years already.

 

I became a member immediately, definately worth the 15 euros a month.

But I may have parsed this with a bit of bias due to the context in my X feed of lefties having a meltdown about the Iran strikes, and equating them to the invasion of Iraq under GW Bush.
