When you break down Walmart's numbers, its revenue is actually poor and leaves them with little operational flexibility. Trump's statement to 'eat the tariffs' shows he's either not business savvy or is shifting blame from the crash and burn of the tariffs. Walmart is going to raise prices. Trump's tariffs are going to hurt the poor.

Isn't that what people blamed biden for, high prices? During Trump's first term the tariffs had no impact on China. You want to know what happened? The trade deficit with China was $375 billion in 2017, forward to 2022, the tariffs dropped the deficit to $310 billion. Companies continued to purchase from China.
The tariffs are an empty political move.
The tariffs were ultimately a tax on the poor.

I didn't blame Biden for the high prices.
I was more concerned with the DEI bullshit, his obvious dementia, the mounting evidence of foreign emoluments, his open ended funding of an unwinnable war, his encouragement of illegal immigration and the student loan forgiveness.
But you see, when you have high inflation and rising debt and you talk about printing more money... then yeah, people are going to be complaining about high prices.
So far the tariffs have not negatively impacted inflation probably because they are being combined with deregulation that is boosting investment across the board. -

Yes, Hitler was famous for sending people he didn't like to concentration camps.
It's probably one of the things he was most famous for.

Yes - the Department of Education has failed.
For example, it's produced you - someone who posts any old shit regardless of whether it is true or not.
In this case, it is not. Both High School graduation and enrolment in further education is up from 1979.
And, as always, the vast majority of the dumb-dumb states are run by Republicans.

Yeah, it tells you that some dumb-dumbs will believe anything you tell them.
Then they embarrass themselves by posting easily debunkable lies on the internet.
That's tells me what I need to know.

Your making a kind of pointless argument. Is it okay to send anyone to a concentration camp?
And wouldn't you know it, once Hitler took power,.they found out that every Jew in Germany was actually there illegally.
Be gay. Do crimes.

And communists, priests, scout leaders, jehovahs witnesses, union leaders, Romani, homosexuals, anyone who stood up to him politically, artists, and more besides.
Compared to Hitler trumpty numpty is just a toddler with a diaper full of sh*t bragging he's the best at something (even if it is smelling terrible and being repugnant)

It's not a pointless argument, nor did I suggest anything of the sort as it being okay to send someone to a concentration camp.
And no, the argument for sending the jews to the concentration camps wasn't that they were illegal immigrants, don't be stupid.
Can you just not process the idea that maybe illegal immigration wasn't a big concern for nazi germany?

But is educational achievement up? Like, literacy, numeracy, general knowledge, etc? (I don’t have the answer - it’s non-trivial to even try to assess.)
Because graduation rates going up by just passing more kids along and graduating them regardless of whether they know anything isn’t something I (nor anyone) should think of as an automatic good.
Likewise, more people enrolling in college to learn shit they should’ve learned in middle or high school so they can get jobs that only require college degrees because it’s an easy weeding tool for employers (who stopped trusting that high school diplomas mean anything) isn’t an automatic good either (and given the expense, it can easily be a bad thing). And I’m not joking - I’ve seen students in upper-division college classes in the US who never would’ve gotten a pre-university track high school diploma where I’m from.Don’t get me wrong - I think education in general is a good thing, but only when people actually learn stuff.

Read the meme a little more closely. It never said that US education has gotten worse in absolute terms. It says that the US has fallen behind other developed nations. That is a fact. Here's a source for you.
