My first reaction to your comment was “Seems unnessisary to point out it’s not actually a salute, everyone will know it’s just a snapshot of him pointing”. 

Then I remembered how many far right people recently have been doing Nazi salutes in public. When you combine that with Farages history with Nazi ideology it could be nessisary to point it out.
