I don't have a picture to support it, but I saw an advisory to wear face coverings on a public bus, so there still are public agencies that still support face masks.

i mean its winter for a lot of places aka Flu season. You know loads of people getting sick. it is normal in most first world country's for advisory campaigns to occur at this time of year every year.

So, I wasn't the one who argued that no one is asking to wear masks anymore. You should probably take your objection up with Lenin.

Well the city I am in Canada I don't even see the recommendation at clinics or such anymore. They have a box of masks at the door but its voluntary now, and staff aren't wearing them. It's been about a year.

Figured the Americans wouldn't even have the box at the doors, nevermind pressure on buses or whatever. Pardon me I guess.

I never explicitly mentioned the pandemic. I was just responding to a question about whether anyone was still requesting masks to be worn.

Yeah.. it heavily implies you were talking about the same subject which was Covid and Masks...

now if he said whos asking you to were masks without any relation to Covid and you responded as you did yeah i would of assumed you meant to no connection to covid.

Well, to be fair, I think there's a big difference from being "asked to wear a mask" (which is what you originally said, and what I was replying to) and being "enforced to wear a mask", which I would define as being forced to wear a mask at a company/agency with the penalty being service denial.

My mistake if you really meant "enforcement".

Regarding enforcement, I can't say that I've seen any mask enforcement lately, but as mentioned previously, I have seen mask asking lately.

My guess for the lack of mask enforcement for non medical personnel is that any company/agency trying to enforce someone wearing a mask at the risk of service denial is a really, really bad look now.

Well if that's the case then no country at all right now is "Enforcing" Masks which as Nescess mentioned is something that is forced. But at this time of year a lot of places definitely "suggest" and you defiantly see older people tending to wear them due to flu season being pretty harsh on frail older people.

But yeah ofcourse people like spark are still talking about Covid its their whole personality to live in the past.

No, I meant asked; been about a year with the clinics since they asked. They have the box up front, if you ask for one they'll give you one... and certainly a few people do.

Just a spritz of hand sanitizer for the last year or so is all i've been actually prompted to take on entry

Nah I read about the exchange in SCMP on the 27th, but that's obviously a China/Asia-centric newspaper - didn't make much news over here at the time but I think it was in Reuters too.

I too would imagine/hope there were other, better, spies... but maybe it was a "fair trade" - one of the Americans traded over, Mark Swidan, was a drug trafficker originally sentenced to death. The other two Americans, and other two Chinese, were relatively on-task comparatively.

Now he was looking for an influ

ential partner to help with acquisitions in other locations around the world that had strategic significance for the Chinese state.

Gilliar had an idea who could help: the Biden family.

Gilliar connected with Hunter Biden through trusted Biden family friend Rob Walker, a former Clinton administration official whose wife, Betsy Massey Walker, had been Jill Biden’s assistant when she was second lady.

Gilliar emailed Walker in February 2015 to praise Hunter’s appearance in Beijing at a board meeting of the fledgling investment fund Hunter had founded, BHR.

“Hunter was great,” Gilliar wrote to Walker. “True sheikh of Washington.”

He emailed Hunter a few weeks later: “It has been made clear to me that CEFC wish to engage in further business relations with our group.”

Gilliar knew CEFC was the capitalist arm of President Xi’s Belt and Road Initiative to spread China’s influence — and debt traps — across the world. No Chinese company executed its goals more ardently than CEFC and its young chairman, who was dubbed the “Belt and Road billionaire” in the press.
