Oh so when you said "every tax" you actually meant one specific type of tax. 

From what I can see, it was in the top 3%, not point 3, and was instituted at a time when most government income was through tariffs.

If I was someone with a net worth of 30 bucks, I probably would be paying practically zero income tax. The standard deduction for joint filing is 29,000 dollars. Payroll taxes and sales taxes would be the majority of my tax burden along with property taxes either directly to me or as a portion of rent. With the earned income tax credit I might end up being paid by the government specifically on the income tax side of things.

What about them? Education rates are higher than every red state. GDP higher than every red state. Murder rates lower (EVEN INCLUDING CHICAGO! GASP! MY PEARLS!) than every red state. Infant mortality rate lower than every red state. 

People who don't realize this? They've got red state educations. 

2024 ,parents working 3.5 jobs between them and hoping ticktock will be an ok substitute parent and any dumbf**kery can be sorted out by school.
