I did follow formula 1 when i was young. Its interesting seeing other players posting about senna. When he died it literally killed the sport for me :S He was a star.
When someone like that dies in the sport it does make you think.
I havent followed formula 1 since then :S

Senna is my favourite at the time i dont think i appreciated how special he was, i have watched the excellent documentary on his life and boy he was a special talent and such a waste when he died.
My current favourite is Hamilton such a natural racer, Verstappen is quick but for me he is a thug and was a lucky boy to win that last race which for me is still a joke.
I would have loved to see Hamilton and Senna go head to head in a race and i am not sure who would have wonhttps://i.gyazo.com/80fdc05f4e3c9c3af681f7ca883ab7df.png

I don't necessarily have a favourite, I know for certain I could never do anything the drivers can, including Mazepin. They are top-level athletes who possess not only immense physical skills but also mental.
When Stroll came into the sport I thought like everyone else he's just a nobody who only got into the sport because of daddy's money but I think he's proven that he's a consistent, reliable and competent driver who might be the sports next Perez.
I liked Max, no longer a fan of his personality but there's no denying he's just a natural, if reports are true he's already adapted to the new car which is incredible and while I agree he got lucky winning the championship last year, I think over the season he did enough to earn it, just a shame how it went.
Lewis is just truly a God, I know a lot of people dislike him and think he's only dominant because he's in the best car, however, last year he wasn't in the best car, he was having to fight Max with everything he had and he would have won the championship if not for the f**k up. It took so much out of Rosberg to beat him that he had to retire, it took an immense effort from Max to beat him too. I don't care what anyone says, his achievements and the fact that he's still on top prove that he is the GOAT.
As for the future, Lando and George are without a doubt champions in waiting. Unfortunately, unless Ferrari are dominant in the next few years Carlos Sainz won't be a champion but he certainly deserves to be one. -

sainz keeps developing each time he drives and lando is an impressive driver but sometimes his decisions counter him back at the track. as for hamilton and max this season i guess both got a good car lets see how this seasons rolls.

Like a lot of others in the US, I got drawn into watching this sport after watching the Netflix series "F1: Drive to Survive", so I can hardly say I am a longtime knowledgeable fan. That said, I have watched almost every race the last two years. There is a huge difference between watching the actual races and the Netflix series. I like them both but the Netflix series misses the strategy that goes into races.
As far as the original question about drivers...
Hamilton: Off track, he seems like a pretty boy euro fashion pussy who thinks he is bigger than the sport. However, he is just the best driver out there. No question. When something goes wrong and he comes back from 15 places behind, it is just crazy. Sure, he is in the best (or near best) car, but still. Lots of funny stories out there about him flying in chicks to bang during the off season.
Verstappen: I bet he likes to choke out small animals. And that stupid flat brimmed cap he wears. Ugh. That said, he is the most aggressive driver out there imo.
Perez - I feel bad for Checo always getting pushed down so Max can win. A fantastic teammate and solid driver in his own right.
Norris - definitely my favorite driver. I like to root for a bit of an underdog who at least still has a chance. Great driver.Last edited by Penicillin on 14:00:40 - 06/07/22 -

I truly appreciate Norris as a driver it’s great seeing him grow. I still feel so bad for last years race when he didn’t change to wets and lost the race in the last lap or last few I can’t remember but that’s the Beauty of watching him grow and mature.
max is a great driver I enjoy watching him because he’s a damn machine almost perfect on his runs. Almost haha.
checo is a great driver sadly he’s the number two because he has his days where he can and can’t preform but when he does like last weeks race it’s amazing.
Can’t deny Hamilton has proved everything he needs on the track.
What are your thoughts on Ricardo? The car for him or is he just done. I personally think he should of stayed at red I’ll as long as he could have. -

Yeah, that was heartbreaking when Norris didn't make the switch to wets and lost that race. He definitely made the call to stay out though. Sometimes you can make decisions when you are in second that you can't make when you are in first.
It is hard not to like Ricardo. The guy is so charismatic. Such a dumb move to leave Red Bull though, especially for Renault. He just chased the money which I guess you can't blame him for doing. Now he is in the twilight of his career. I sort of look at him the same way as Vettel and Alonso --- used to be good but now just collecting a paycheck.
Who do you think has the better car - Red Bull or Ferrari? I'm just kinda glad it isn't Mercedes since they dominated for so long. -

Different era's different favorites
Hunt
Prost
Mansell
Senna
Schumacher
Hill
Hamilton
Max
And that's only scratching the surface
For me senna could have been but taken before time
For enjoying racing has to be hunt
Schumacher changed the way things were done, broke all records and probably turned millions off of
the sport, became boring as a spectator sport.
Hamilton took this to another level.
I'm kinda glad what happened last season happened knocked Mercedes off their Perch. I thought it was so wrong but I kinda think we have such an exciting season this season because of it. Silverstone race was maybe one of the best races ever.
I have a sneaky suspicion that max is young enough to beat all lewis records, he has the hunger and the drive and can drive like a lunatic also....
At the moment for me the best out off these drivers.

At the beginning of the season I would have said Ferrari without a doubt with the better car they seemed so dominant but now with the rough path they hit with these dnfs Red Bull seemed to have sorted that out much faster.
also the straight line speed that red Bull have found can’t be caught even with drs when Carlos was chasing him on the straight.
Ferrari seems to be battling against themselves with these questionable strategy calls it’s a shame to see.
Overall Redbulls car is better at the moment but holy shit is that Ferrari a beautiful car sadly that has nothing to do with it.
Mercedes in my eyes has dominated long enough and that isn’t good for the sport -
