That's a favorite story of mine as well. It was during a snow storm and leave it to Chipper to get a drink and head down I-85 to scoop Freddie.

Giants fan here! NL West looking pretty strong in the early going. Only one team under .500, and by only one game.

Shout-out the Jays for winning me my first sports bet on Torn! Pumped for this season, hoping we make it through the AL east this year

He's looked really good for us this year so far :D our bullpen is stacked though too with Ryu and Gausman

I'll be honest. Freddie Freeman being a whiney a$$ b****.
Be mad at your representation but don't take it out on the club or your teammates. As much as I loath the Dodger it's not like he got traded Baltimore. He needs to make the best of it and leave Atlanta in the past. -

ugh my Nationals suck again this year, not much in the minor leagues to give us much hope this will be a quick fix.. Makes you appreciate how some teams are competitive year in and year out. Yankees and Dodgers will be a tough to beat, but hoping the Blue Jays can pull it all together. AL east is a beast this year too.

I'm really curious how that all really went down, I mean either they told him about the final offer or they didn't...

I have read alot of reports that what Atlanta offered him was not much less than what the Dodger's offered him. Had he truly wanted to stay in Atlanta he could have just taken the offer.

I've watched him through the slim years and all the way to when he went deep in clinching game of 2021 WS. I love what he and his family has accomplished and recommend watching the special on him and his family. I cant remember who did it but I'm sure you can google and find. He's been a great player for years and where ever he lands then they are getting one hell of a player and a better personNot to mention the fact withholding information from a client could end his agents career who reps many other big names in the mlb. My guess is Freddies emotional didn't feel his agent handled it right and they parted ways media made it more of spectacle. He can't be too unhappy though he's hitting a 321 batting average on track for another mvp season smiling with Mookie.

RiP Vin Scully
Says alot that fans would bring transistor radios into the stadium to hear him call it.
