Poirier beat the crap outta him last time, unless mcgregor brings something else, its gonna happen again...

McGregor won the 1st round & was winning the 2nd until Poirer connected with a nice left hook - so no, he hardly, "beat the crap out of him"

And remember, McGregor made quick work of Poirier in their first fight - 1 min, 46 secs for the TKO

Disagree totally with your review of the last fight, I'm a mcgregor fan he got schooled.
Imo he needs to change something or its gonna happen again.

I expect Poirier to throw less calf kicks early in the fight. The smart move would be to go for control time and gas out McGregor a bit before going back to low kicks and repeating the previous KO. Karate stance McGregor needs the energy to bounce around.

We'll see who takes the center of the octagon first, I suppose. I'd like to see Poirier seal the deal here, but if Conor mixes it up with kicks like he used to, there's a good chance of dropping anyone in the division.

Lol...my analysis was pretty spot on, aside from Conor breaking his shit.

1st fight, Connor was still a young, hungry fighter and Dustin hadnt fully developed his game Deserved victory for McGregor.

2nd fight, Poirier didnt beat the crap out of him, he KICKED the crap outta him, then punched his lights out after McG couldnt get away anymore. Did he take some shots doing it along the way ? Yeah, but he knew once he did the damage, the result would follow. If you cant move, youre not nearly as hard to hit. Perfect game plan against a guy thats trained to be a boxer for the past 3 years.

3rd fight proves McGregor can still punch but he never evolved... ever, except into a boxer. Going for a guillotine in the first round on a well conditioned fighter shows he was desperate from the start. That and the leg kicks with his foot instead of shin is what cost him here. Only credit I can give is that McGregor was fighting on a fractured tibia for a few minutes before it gave out, but thats how Karma works. Talk mad shit, get bad split.

Last 2 fights, 2 legs destroyed. Get that man a wheelchair

Im not so sure. McG is so rich, he doesnt have the same motivation he once had. By the time he gets back, Poirier could be champ and no way McG gets a title shot after losing to everyone hes fought in the last 5 years except for washed up old Cowboy

100% agree with this. When you go on the UFC website and look at the fight history for both DP and CMG, CMG has done like 10 fights and made millions from it, and become shit. DP has fought hard men hard, and barely got the belt except khabib just left anyway so he got it. Looks to me like CMG just waited for khabib to leave, but he didn't keep 100% training like from the days when he had nothing, no money, needs to get the belt.

I think Cowboy purposely took a dive for that one. Why put it all on the line to actually fight washed up mcgregor when you can take a black eye for half a million dollars and go home lmao. He's crazy tough, I wouldn't say washed up, but not champ material. But if you can't beat Cowboy, you'll never beat the champ or any of the top 5, I think that's why Dana keeps him on board, plus huge fanbase.

This was a huge fight night and I can't wait for DP vs CMG 4 - DP is gonna put a finish to the saga no doubt.

I find it fascinating how different people view fights. A die hard fans view is different from an impartial fight fans view. Some will say McG was winning that round but , who came out of it with a bloody head/ear and who had not a scratch on him. Not even mentioning who kick that hardest spot on another man with his damn foot. What scores better ? A few sweet punches or a takedown and some nasty elbows ? Your guy always won "that round" no matter which side you're on. Granted, there were a few lefts landed flush but as in the previous fight , you take one to give a better one. For me the round was close to even but since 10 - 10 is not allowed, its a toss up. Could have gone either way, but when was the last time McG won a 3rd , 4th or 5th round ? Just being even in the first is good enough against a guy that always gasses and quits.

Once upon a time, I was a casual fan of Mystic Mac but seeing the shitshow hes become over the last 5 years its embarrassing as hell to say I ever was on his side. He literally should be in prison for at least 5 different things if it was an average guy on the street.

1 More than one Sexual assault claim *none proven
2 Theft of property( cell phone) * Proven
3 Assault and battery with injuries( the bus thing) *Proven
4 Another unprovoked assault on the bar patron that just wanted a beer instead of his whiskey (this right here proves how scummy of a human he is) * Proven
5 Terroristic death threats now *Shown on live TV

Trash, utter and absolute garbage of a human. I root for him to get the living shit beat out of him every fight now, no matter the opponent.

Dustin showed just as little class at the end, talking shit to the very people who put food on his table for his family. That is about as low as you can go, no ifs ands or buts about it.

As for the fight, Conor lost the first round. There is no debate, the judge's cards prove it.

UFC has become a joke these days. It's the Ultimate Feelings Championship.

There is only one true champ. Colby Covington.
