    My convo with ChatGPT
    Me: Is 450 90% of 500
ChatGPT: No, 450 is 90% of 500. To find 90% of 500, you can multiply 500 by 0.90, which equals 450.
You guys can go try it out

Its ability to do math is extremely limited. Its a statistical analysis of human written words and it 'merely' predicts the most likely next words to come in any given situation.

    It also has 'human reinforcement'

... As in, it has tilted those statistics based on the feedback/ratings given by people interacting with it. (In an attempt to align it better with 'what we like to hear')

I've learnt to code with python over the last few months, Largely just to further my understanding and personally play with these ... errr 'astounding' new tools.

    Wollongong [12833]

I have tried it on some of the writing assignments I have received from clients (after I made the delivery).

It in no way matches the quality. It's probe to errors, it gets stuck in generic phrases and cannot actually make any decisions.

    I am not worried.
    Yet
    Ahahaha >_<

    'Probe to errors'

Have you guys looked into custom GPTs? You upload pdfs, give it a prompt, and let it go.

I gotta say, ChatGPT has been a game-changer for me, and not just any version, but GPT-4, which is like the enhanced version with even smarter reasoning abilities. It's crazy to think it's only been around for barely two years, right? This AI is on a whole other level, helping me out with coding, analyzing data, and even crafting trading bot strategies. It's like having a super-smart buddy who's always there to lend a hand.
So, what's so special about GPT-4? Well, for starters, it's got a better grasp on context, can follow conversations more naturally, and even catches onto the subtleties in language that previous versions might have missed. Plus, it's way better at generating creative content and solving complex problems. And let's not forget, it's designed to learn and grow over time, which means it's just getting started.

Thinking about the future, it's wild to imagine where ChatGPT will be in the next five years. If it's this impressive now, just two years in, the possibilities are endless. Sure, I use it for coding and data analysis, but the potential applications are vast. It's like we're on the cusp of a revolution in how we interact with technology.
But, I'm also not blind to the potential downsides. With any powerful tool, there's always the chance it could cause some harm if not used responsibly. That's something we all need to be mindful of as we move forward.

In the end, though, I personally think the benefits far outweigh the risks. ChatGPT has been an incredible asset to me, and I'm excited to see where this journey takes us. Here's to the future of AI, and all the amazing things it's going to bring!

Has anyone tried to 'jailbreak' ChatGPT to get around their filters? Pretty interesting when you give it a long prompt that forces it to go outside of it's own boundaries.
This guy crimes [edit wtf no emojis?]

Didn't choose any, it's just an algorithm scraping the web choosing the word that seems most common based on texts from people. It's a handy tool, but with no intelligence at all, because it cannot make anything of itself.

    AI is overrated.

ChatGPT is revolutionary. Microsoft have implemented ChatGPT into their new product, Co-Pilot, which they have integrated into Edge/Bing (Formerly Bing Chat,) Microsoft Office and Windows.

Used within Edge/Bing and Windows you can have conversations with it and it will search the web, using bing, to find the answers and solutions to your queries, but you can ask in a normal manner. It will find the answers within it's search results and present them to you with sources.

Within Co-Pilot for Office it can generate documents and emails for you such as sales proposals(Outlook/Word) or presentations (PowerPoint) as well as analysing data and creating tables and graphs (Excel.)

    It truly is game changing.

One year later and ChatGPT is now generating video based on descriptive text.
    Are we worried yet?

Nope. Technology evolution has changed lots of things and that appears like it also be video generation.

There are lots of industries that will benefit from being able to generate a short video. Perhaps for advertising on TV or online.

Usually it would cost a considerable about of money to go and film, edit and produce a video. Now it can be done in a few seconds.
