Hi, was wondering if here are any other Linux users?
And which distro do you use?
I recently switched from Linux mint to Artix.
Really amazing Distro, very fast, lightweight, beautiful

    Update.
    Currently been using KDE Neon.
Very happy with it. Had trouble with Artix after a major update some time ago.
Neon running like a dream. Will post some screenies at some point.

I'm thinking about installing arch on my personal computer. The only issue is I like to play a lot of video games and that would restrict most of the multiplayer games I play.

I run Windows 10 on my personal machine and Debian on my personal server. I have been hearing great things about the Steam Play compatibility layer for Fedora and Arch; but I am more excited about the gaming optimization of Windows 11. Learning linux is fun, but I see it more as a hobby. Old dog, new tricks. You know how it is.

I use arch. Rolling distros are great lol, and love aur

Don't play video games much, but I do have windows for that. Linux can run those, but I don't really ever buy games on steam. Its such a chore whenever I have to boot up windows lol, and it's inevitably after months of not using it, so it does it's whole updating thing, which solidifies my gate for it xD

I use the pop os and debian and freebsd and openbsd.

The hardware compatibility is disappointing. But I live in terminal.

I use Ubuntu because I just couldn't choose and the distro-hopping made me go crazy so eventually I just stopped at Ubuntu. Not much to say about it, I'm a fan of the desktop environment although it has a few small flaws (like how in the calendar in notif bar a week starts at Sunday, which makes me often think like HUH? This event on Monday? out of confusion). I just like that I have Linux, also the community is pretty good.

    Edit:
I actually use Debian Sid with GNOME now.

recently switched from Fedora to Arch since i'm using Gnome 40. i have been pleasantly surprised by the new installer, really simple and straightforward and a much needed addition in my opinion.

Xubuntu user here- xfce has been my DE of choice for over 10 years now, and combined with the simplicity of Ubuntu I’m happy. I’ll always have a soft spot for Slackware though; might give it another spin once 15 comes out.

Been using linux since the early 90s. Use it for both work and privately.

Given a choice I always pick Debian.

I use Mint (Cinnamon edition) on most of my personal machines, although for some reason I can't quite remember, my Plex server is running Fedora at the moment.

Professionally though there's a big variety, it's mostly Red Hat/CentOS based, Ubuntu for a few other bits and pieces, some Debian for others and then there's a few proper UNIX machine.

Personally I hate the GNOME3/Unity style interfaces and would gladly go back to the halcyon days of CentOS 6 and GNOME2.

Solus here. Boots faster on a rotating disk than windows on an ssd. I use it for gaming and video editing. Runs like a dream

Me, currently using Debian stable with KDE. I've switched back-and-forth to several distributions, but this one feels like home.

Back then, I've heard they said, “stick with the major distro and the rest are just memes.” Well, I understand this distro is like the gramps of most Linux distro, so supports and documentation must be good. And it's super stable. Perfect for the one who needs set-and-forget machine, and focus on working stuffs.
