Seriously, I'm disappointed no one wrote that yet.

I noticed you like fantasy anime, but there's a surprising lack of Konosuba there, definitely one of the top isekai out there with Log Horizon, Overlord and Digimon.

More fantasy recommendations would be Realist Hero, Combatants will be dispatched! (Sentouin, Hakenshimasu!), Mushoku Tensei, Grimgar, Gate, Returner's magic (1st season of anime is covering the slow start, but manhwa is pretty good), I'm standing on 1,000,000 lives, Zero no Tsukaima

Outside of fantasy genre I can recommend Ghost In the Shell, Applesseed, Desert Punk (en dub is good on this one), Edgerunners, World Trigger, Initial-D and Blame! movie.

Oh and someone mentioned Yosuga no Sora, so you should definitely watch that.

PS: Don't watch Ghost in the Shell live action movie, also known as "In Name Only", it's shit, the writer has no idea what Ghost in the Shell is about and butchered the whole script. The Netflix series is surprisingly good tho, once you get over the new character designs.

Hunter x Hunter!!

Haibane Renmei remains my favourite anime overall, although it's quite leisurely paced and unassumingly subdued to the point that it can turn people away for feeling uneventful, and it tends to avoid some of the melodrama aspects that other shows have. It's short at only 13 episodes, but I find myself returning every so often for a rewatch. The ending still gets me.

Despite it's twee appearance it touches on some pretty dark subjects, so probably depends on your mood. Something different from the usual big animes though.

I'm currently going through Serial Experiments Lain after having the boxset for over a decade, I'm not really sold on it to be honest.
