There are loads of lines that I remember from Lord of The Rings.
Lately my minds been stuck on The Big Lebowski and The Full Monty.
What about you? What are the films that had the most impact on you. Do you still re-watch them today? It's been a year since I re-watched all the Harry Potter films. I re-watch them every so often. At one point it was annually lmao.Danny Devito Running From Smaug -

both are great, appreciate the films and the books.
Blues brothers wasn’t my cuppa tea, I haven’t seen or even heard of animal house so I’ll give that a try before I pass judgement on it.
If we’re going off films on an older generation I’d rather the likes of reservoir dogs, or if you’re a fan of comedies may I recommend “life stinks” or “see no evil hear no evil”, -

Also, SPies like us, & Space Balls were pretty good. Police Academy series, NOw that f**king Hilarious. Especially the first 2. If you like adventure You can't go wrong with any of the Indiana Jones's.
Chuck Norris Missing in Action 1 & 2. I didn't personally care for the 3rd one. Chuck actually has quite a few good flicks, But he also just kicks ass in general. You might also enjoy any of the Dirty Harry series. Serpico If you like Pacino. Pacino & Deniro both actually have a LOT of good flicks. Way too many to even mention. The Warriors I thought was another good flick.
If you like thats 80's style 1 man badass kill-everything action You can't go wrong with any of the Rambo's. Or Arnold in Commando or The first predator, WHich for its day I think is very cinematically mastered. & honestly IMO 1 of Arnold's best films.
I can't really say I have 1 film that's memorable. When I actually have a few. & that's only because the people I've watched them with are not here anymore & I remember Joking or making smart-ass comments to each other during certain scenes of certain movies to each other. -

On that note, there’s two movies I forgot. One is an upbeat comedy, the other is a very dark rom-com, possibly cursed lol.
Meangirls and Wristcutters: a love story.
The latter is about a depressed guy that decides to kill himself, in the so called after life, he meets a girl and searches for the people in charge. Looses track of the girl and instead searches for her, inspires a bunch of people along the way. After all who has the heart to fall in love in the most depressing place in the universe.
A more fun dark comedy would be What we do in the shadows.
All of those are not easily forgotten.
neither are Animal House or Blues Brothers, but to be honest they weren’t my cup of tea either.
If you want a master piece from that era you should give True Romance a go. Not exactly a comedy, but it’s definitely got a laugh or two in there. -

I was staying the night at my grandparents house with a bunch of my cousins, we were all in the lounge, parents and grandparents had the rooms, we had been playing games all night and were done and flicking thru the channels to fall asleep to something and it just so happened to be that Porkies was on, we were all around 7-10yrs old and i had never watched some movie i wasnt supposed to and this was our moment, we turned it down low enough so only we could hear it and watched with an erection
idk any other movie ive seen more memorable than that even tho i had no idea wat the movie was about or wat happened, the moment made it memorable but that movie was why -
