I've recently started listening to podcasts, and they help pass the time splendidly at work. I'm interested in all genres so if you have one (or more) that's your go-to then I'll definitely check it out!

It's on Spotify, but they are continuing after their radio show so there are some inside jokes you might not get at first but you'll quickly get familiar with.

Some other favorites, though, include:- Darknet Diaries
- Strong Songs
- Philosophize This!
- The Detroit History Podcast
- 99 Percent Invisible
- Criminal
- Last Podcast On The Left, though I really only listen to the multi-part series they do on things.
- The Strange And Unusual

Lex Fridman has some interesting ones too and he has an interesting voice, he was interviewing the guy who invented wikipedia the other week that was fun.
RFK Jr who is running for US president right now has some great ones. I was listening to his interview with an animal vet who went to dubai and retrieved 6kg of plastic bags from a dead camel cos camels eat anything like goats i guess. RFK Jr has a weird voice though.
Louis Theroux from the documentaries has just started one i didn't try yet but if it's anything like his documentaries it should be good. -

Posted on 04:51:58 - 17/10/23 (1 year ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkIt's set in space but not so much like Star Trek to me. Smaller number of people not so much adventure combat or exploration like star trek
But the last episode hits like a truck. So good. As soon as I listened I made my wife go thru it all as well so I could see her face at the end
They won some webbies here's the description from the website
"Set on board the U.S.S. Hephaestus space station, the dysfunctional crew deals with daily life-or-death emergencies, while searching for signs of alien life and discovering there might be more to their mission than they thought. " -
