Aliens is the best film ever. It was made in the 80s. There have been sequels but they where not as good :S
There has to be a 'proper' sequel to aliens. ie all action.Forum signatures make my eyes hurt so i have turned them off.

I liked all of the films and prequels and your right Aliens stands out as the best one for action.
Want to watch a big battle of predators with colonial marines blasting the Aliens in a desperate fight for all and then have some Terminator drop in and f**k them all up.
Too many Trademarks would stop it though.
So Aliens with Ripley In a command center on Earth with war all over the planet fighting the Aliens for 120 minutes with the original sound effects from Aliens.I don't play I just read and post on the forums when I'm meant to be studying or when England beat Germany 2 : 1. Alien and Aliens are both great movies for slightly different reasons, and I don't think I could really rank the two. Aliens is definitely what I was thinking of when I said "action movies about capitalism and feminism," though.

Oh, that makes sense. He feels the need... the need for speed. And gay beach volleyball not that there's anything wrong with that.

80s movies had the best posters imo. All unique and perfect to hang on your wall, even bad movies! Frankly bad movies back then are better than now. (e.g Hard Ticket To Hawaii)

What I like about 80s movies (other than how many of them had political messages I like) is the pacing. A lot of movies now feel very compressed, like they're afraid the audience will get bored if they actually let the scenes breathe a little. 80s movies generally aren't slow-paced; they're efficient, just not hyper-fixated on getting from point to point as quickly as possible.
