If you watched any part of the Oscars then you may have seen it but if you haven't.
Chris Rock at one point turned his style of humor on Jada Pinkett Smith with a comment regarding her bald head. "---Really looking forward to G.I. Jane 2 when it comes out." Jada, clearly upset by the poke at her expense took the jab with all the dignity she could muster. As many know, she suffers from alopecia and has come out as a supporter of those who also suffer from the disease in 2018.
Will Smith got up and walked up onto the stage and slapped Chris across the face and returned to his seat. When Chris tried to make a joke about the slap while looking at Will, Will shouted up to him, "Keep my wife's name out of your f**cking mouth."
Now, the internet is abuzz with the event.......What's a New Year's resolution for anyway? It just goes in one year and out the other.

If any of us slapped someone on a live event we'd be charged with assault and escorted off the premises. Have some class! The Oscars are a joke now.

Event dedicated to actors giving other awards for being good at acting, and nobody thinks it may have been staged?
Then again, I hate Jada Pinkett Smith with an unrelenting passion, so I hope it was real and her bald ass got legit butthurt. -

To be honest, it genuinely looked more like a staged publicity stunt. Reasons being, the nature of the movie that Will Smith won that Oscar for. Bring attention back to the Oscars cause who really has watched it for the last decade. Considering the antics of the past, why wasn't security rushing out? The mic feed was never cut off during the altercation. Chris leaned his face out like he knew it was coming. The jokes are pre-approved before the show starts. If you listened to Will's acceptance speech he talked about learning to protect family from his role in the movie. So, a lot of things pointing towards a publicity stunt.

Exactly. I don't think it was real. Besides, who would slap CHRIS ROCK over a joke. Especially a joke that was insanely docile for him.
Will Smith's smile when he was strolling off stage, too... -

If it were fake, Will Smith (of all people) wouldn't have dropped an F bomb. Not live, if he was feigning outrage.
I'd also like to think they'd have staged a punch, not a bitch slap. Will didn't even apply baby powder first. -

It's [current year] and if you aren't being needlessly crude and/or degenerate, nobody is paying attention to you. How many people actually watch overpaid celebrities sit around and jerk each other off, giving each other fake awards while giving the rest of us nothing of any interest or value? Besides, Will Smith is well past his prime, career-wise, and JPS is a glorified nobody. This would be a fantastic publicity stunt for the both of them, and remove some attention off the fact that Will Smith is a literal cuck.

Doubt its a publicity stunt. The incident makes Smith look very bad. Would be pretty stupid for him to agree to be a part of it.
Oscars couldn't make things this interesting if they tried lmao -

Still, slapping a man at the Oscars doesn't seem like a well thought out plan if your aim is to improve your own profile. It's much more likely that Will lost his cool and acted like a dickhead.
I know narcissism knows no bounds, so this being staged is entirely possible, but I just don't see it happening given how much of a tit Big Willie now looks. -

It was funny, Will Smith laughed, then saw the sour look on his wifes face and was nagged into it...

Well free speech yeah, some speech has consequences though
Anyway, feeble actors being insecure is entertainment, and they are entertainers. Didn't watch the Oscars only that part, all I can say it was a sure 100% the best thing of the whole show.Last edited by Capgros on 23:31:41 - 29/03/22 -

I think it's more likely a publicity stunt on behalf of the Oscars itself, rather than the individual actors. Just seems like something they'd do.

When was the last time you heard anybody talking about Will Smith? All publicity is good publicity. Now instead of just seeing him as a cuck that lets his wife f**k other dudes, now people see him as the loose canon that hits people for making jokes about his wife. Who he lets f**k other dudes.
I dunno. I have no concrete reason to believe it's staged over believing it's legit. I just never expected Will Smith to do something like that. And to Chris Rock of all people.Last edited by MadHatter on 01:35:01 - 30/03/22 -

Recently heard that Pfizer (sponsors of the event) are releasing a hair growth drug for sufferers of alopecia, if that is true, then it all looks and sounds pretty staged to me. Stay tuned for more programming.
