    So boring I didn't even finish the movie. I enjoy watching the grass grow. So, that's saying something.
    Really? I remember loving that movie, seems a bit harsh but i guess it isn't for everyone.

    Samorost [1655145]

    I cant remember the name but it was some ghost film the Mrs. chose. Watched about 30 minutes and switched it off.

    Acting was so shit its like they had no personality and others were smirking and holding back smiles as if they werent taking the film seriously. Camera effects were just violent shaking and heavy colour filters. I felt like it was somebodys film college project that found its way onto whatever streaming service it was on.

    Another (Chosen by the Mrs.) was about a plane crash in the ocean and then a shark attacks them, its like they spent all their budget on the intro and first few minutes and had just enough for mediocre effects and bad editing for the rest of the film
    Hahaha i am lucky that my partner has no clue about films so i usually always end up picking out films that we both enjoy. The films you have watched sound like a rough time, don't know if i could do it lol

    Gummo is a rough one to watch.  It's the same as trying to watch Pink Flamingos and not feeling dirty after watching it.

    My Mrs. is amazing at choosing bad films, if a mainstream or good film is 2 hours or more she wont go near it, so we end up watching the worst films and halfway through she'll say "This film is pretty bad to be honest"  

    And to add to this that dumb plane crash shark film was on tv the other day so I had to scramble and change channel before she got absorbed into it

    I think my favorite bit is the fight at the blind school near the beginning of 2. Specifically when toxie crushes that dude by folding up his wheelchair, classic cinema. 


    You know they’re remaking it? Peter Dinklage Kevin bacon and Elijah woods will be in it. Lloyd Kaufman gave his approval for it and said the guy directing it probably knows toxie better than himself.

    My friend and I got drunk on Kraken and he had me sit through the first 4 movies. Its a bit blurry but I'll never get the diaper baby gang's shenanigans from the fourth movie out of my head. LMAO toxic avengers hasn't aged well...  a 2021 remake would be interesting. That being said, with that cast i wouldn't miss it.

    Edit: This reminds me I still have to watch SGT Kabukiman NYPD I may go on a Troma binge shortly

    Oh no, i assume she has a short attention span then, my partner can sometimes be like that too, if i movie doesn't grab her attention quick enough she will fall asleep and it is the most annoying thing ever, but nowhere near as annoying as your dilemma i can imagine.

    Don't know about Gummo but i have seen bits of a Serbian Film, it was really messed up.
    Gummo is totally different. It is just hard to watch for completely other reasons...there are people who love Gummo, too, because it succeeds at making people uncomfortable in really unique and awful ways.
