For those Terry Pratchett fans that may have missed this, on BBC iplayer there is a show called The Watch that is based on his work. Sam Vines lives, and the gang are all there, but the setting is more Bladerunner / Gotham than how you know the Disc World, but it works...

8 episodes, plus maybe a second series. You will love it...
