Oh something newer. I know mostly older movies.

Though the newest Trial movie I saw was Runaway Jury Although I did not like it much. That was when we got to see movies once a month with the local Movie critic from the newspaper. There was a group it lasted for about 5 years I think.

As for other ones Anatomy of a Murder. This was based off of a real murder that happened and they shot it in the city it took place. The only issue I had with that is that they changed the names from the real towns and so they Named Marquette Thunder bay which was confusing because they were also going to Canada in the Film and there is a Canadian town halfway around the lake Which is like a whole days drive.. Though they were saying that the Distance between Thunder day and the other town was close.

!2 Angry Mean. A trail taking from the juries perspective.

    My Cousin Vinny

Then if you want to punish yourself there is always Jury Duty with Pauly Shore.

Sorry taht I do not know any newer ones.

Again most of what I know will be old stuff. Like film Noir and before film noir.

As for before well this started before there are
    The Thin Man movies
there are 6 of them from 1934 to 1947
They are a bit comical but have serious crimes to solve. It is more so the interactions usually between the Detective and his wife and their dog Asta.

For a more gritty Detective you may want to watch some Mike Hammer movies. There are a lot of them Based off of the Books by Mickey Spillane/ One of them is I,The Jury ( not it is not a trial movie) There is a 1953 version and a 1982 version. The 1982 version they changed the illegal prostitution house into a sex therapy center.

M directed by Fritz Lang Staring Peter Lorre as a child killer the police have to track down. It is a German movie Then Fritz Lang Moved to the U.S. because he did not want to make movies for Hitler.

Then he made some film Noir movies in the 50's Well I only saw two of those. The blue Gardenia which is okay, then the Big Heat.

A more newer one is Sea of love 1989 with Al Pacino.

And then there is always detective Pikachu. Which was not bad and it did capture the feel of the pokemon universe

I think there were a few more I was going to suggest though I forget which ones they are now.

    Fritz Lang movie

Ok noted! That fritz lang movies sounds too old for my taste. But I admire people who are willing to pay the price for something that they believe in. So he gets my approval. Thx ya and cheers!

Will get back at you to post my comment about those movies next week
