Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai is similar, it also has a second season Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai NEXT

Can't believe I watched no anime this year.
I was watching Black Clover last year but I dropped that. I finished Megalobox though.

"Monster", i bet you would place it in your top 3 favourite anime of all time...it is a bit different from normal animes but that makes it all the more unique.

Instead of starting a new post I thought I'd post here.

I know nothing about anime, but watched the animatrix the other day. I really enjoyed it.
Where do I go from there?
I'm preferably looking for a series I can start at the beginning with a developing story.

Would you like to describe the genres you like, or dislike? I can give you suggestions based on it.
If you are fine with long series, maybe try Hunter x Hunter, Death Note and Boku no Hero Academia ? Those were some of the first ones that I watched, so I am just recommending the same.

And do give reviews for them. That will help in suggesting even better anime.

    i'm not 100% sure what I like.
I watched a bit of pokemon at boarding school as it was on one of the 3 channels we had in our free time.
I'm going to start with Hunter x Hunter and see how I go.

    Thank you

That time I got Reincarnated as a Slime

Sorry it isn't much but besides for studio Ghibli I am just getting into anime, i really struggle with reading subtitles when watching something.

If you do not like reading subtitles, you can search for a dubbed version of the anime. Most anime have a dubbed version too.

Hi, I am looking for a particular genre and another requirement is that the series shouldn't be too long(See the first post). Those are great requirements for anybody who hasn't seen them yet, but most don't fit the requirement.

Definitely Steins:Gate. It have a bit of everything, comedy, drama... but mostly it's a thriller, Sci-Fi. Ranked top #3 by MAL, for me it's the best Sci-Fi anime, one of the best drama and THE best Time Travel and Mind Games series I've ever seen.
