Just got around to finishing this series and the final 2 episodes were without a doubt the best episodes of TV I've ever seen.
It's an animated show(for adults) that talks about sensitive topics in a very "real" way while mixing in comedy. If you deal with depression, anxiety, lack of confidence, or are bitter with the world... this show is for you. It touches on topics like death in such a beautiful way. It really brings all of these things together and ends it on a perfect note.
It's a rare show that made me a better person. Has anyone else watched it? For anyone who hasn't - season 1 isn't very good... and the first two episodes actually outright suck. But after that... pure poetry.
Honestly, I agree! I had to preserve with the first season and a half but I left feeling content and in awe of the writing of that show! I will never get over the Free Churro episode and don't want too. If I can write something like that at any point in my life I know I'm doing well. And the way they handled mental health and coming out Ace...beautiful work.
This is one of the best shows ever created. I keep telling everyone I know about it, but a lot of of them won't watch it because it's animated. I wasn't going to watch it at first for the same reason but I am so glad I did.
I love Aaron Paul, he's the reason I began watching Bojack because I'm also a huge fan of Breaking Bad.
