    I was hyped when I saw this everywhere! Coming from a guy that play the game sequels this should be cool to see it being turn into a series. I heard it was going to be a horror type show. Or I would hope so with all the ghouls and stuff.

    Looks like it will be good. I plan to buy the novels and video game before it comes out on Netflix. Then I can have a better understanding of the show. Even watching the show by itself would be a cool thing.

    Looks like it will be good. I plan to buy the novels and video game before it comes out on Netflix. Then I can have a better understanding of the show. Even watching the show by itself would be a cool thing.
    Make sure you read the short stories before Blood of Elves. BoE is marketed as Book 1, but the short stories should be read beforehand.

    Thoughts? I've watched the first 3 episodes so far and quite enjoyed it. I've not read the books, only played Witcher 3 which I know some don't consider "canon", but even so I knew it was Ciri the moment she came on screen and it's cool to see some of Yens backstory.

    I've now seen all of it. I'm gonna need to read all of the books to get more background on things happening. However, I almost screamed in joy during the striga scenes cuz that's straight outta Witcher 1, haha.

    It's f**k wild!! Lovin' it. I'm having a hell of a time keeping track of the timelines however.

    I played the Witcher 3 a decent amount but I didn't pay much attention to the storyline while playing. I don't know who I am, I don't know where I'm from, all I know is I must kill.

    I think the biggest disappointment was that there were only 8 episodes ...
    The show was amazing though. I've read the books and played the games, and watching it was a good throwback to both !

    AHHH overall it was good. Kinda don't like Triss Merigold's character on the TV show, but the books are awesome. I already wish they had season 2 ready.

    Played Witcher 3 when it was first released on PS4 and enjoyed it so much I bought the books. I hope the TV series is just as good.

    The Tv show is still better than most going around these days, but personally i thought it was lacking a lot specially in context for those who are not familiar with the story.

    Personally i enjoyed it because i had enough of the background from the games to understand it and will be watching season 2, but can't really say the same for my wife...

    They could have done a much, much better job... Guess ppl still have things to learn from LOTR, they took 6 mins on the first movie to fill you in and you get enough backstory for the whole thing.

    Just watched the first episode and looks like a pile of shit. Do not understand the hype...

    No one, and I mean no one, fought battles by running like a prick and hitting anyone else in different armour. Since the Greeks we had shield walls as they work. One against another for hours until a weakness is found...

    f**k me. The writers must be on crack and still wanking themselves silly over the opening magicians tower scence...
