I haven’t really watched Parks & Recreation, but I love The Office. Comedy Central has been playing it a bunch for maybe a year now. I may have seen every episode by now but it’s still one of the few sitcoms I watch. Maybe I’ll make an effort to give Parks & Rec a chance. I tend to have a habit of not getting into shows or movies until about five years or so after they have ended .... so it looks like P&R is starting to fall into that timeline.
I'm trying Parks and Rec now. Into the 2nd or 3rd season. I agree that Chris and Ben added new life to the show....but I feel they tried way too hard to get a Jim and Pam thing going. Andy and April are just not it. Ann and anyone is just not it. I can't stand Tom. Ron is the only interesting/fun one. I'm trying though. I'm trying.
I have now finished Parks and Rec. They shouldn't have made season 7. The ending of 6 was really well done. Then they dragged it out. I guess by that mentality they should have stopped the Office after Michael leaves. So...touche'. If I had to watch one or the other from the beginning again...I might have to say Parks and Rec. Though, I'm super stoked to be going to the Office Musical Parody (a live show) in February.
