So Bran is king now, the all seeing eye, and everyone thinks he's noble and worthy...Yet that cunning little so-n-so saw everything that was going to happen, before it happened. Didn't think to give people a heads up that the crazy dragon lady is about to turn up the heat. Who knew the broken was in the fight for the throne without having to even lift a finger.

When everyone said "aye" I was actually cracking up.

Like, nobody even knows this f**k. Tyrion just said he makes terrible decisions, and now he's appointing him leader and everyone is like... yeah, never seen this f**k before nor do I know who he even is but AYE. Yara just said Dany is her queen and she doesn't give a shit. One terrible speech later AYYYEEEEE. Like, what? Why is she apart of the kingdom even, did the writers forgot they had independence already?

Then the water bottle sitting right by them the whole time filming.

Sadly the acting in that scene was bad too... I don't think it was possible given the dialogue. Glad to see Bran had the most dialogue of Season 8 with like ...3 lines that were laugh worthy.

Arya with 2 lines of dialogue one of them being "I know a killer when I see one". ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT ONE I DIDN'T SEE IT LAST EPISODE

Jon wasting 10 minutes of the finale with a cringe talk with Tyrion once again saying MAHH QUEEEN. Then Tyrion is like, "you know she'll kill you." - MAHHH QUEEENNNN... "you know she'll kill your sisters?" - complete 180 murder time

My knickers? lol. I disliked you because you were being a little bitch about there being more than one thread....threads that you don't have to interact with at all.

You disliked me in retaliation because you're a petty moron.

There were so many things wrong with the way this story was closed off, but man alive they treated the Reed family like shit lol. No satisfying end to any of that, probably has me the most upset.

    Also I guess......

    - Lol at Tyrion not being included in the story, even though his capture sparked the entire thing (and ofc he went on to do many notable things).

    - "Bran the Broken" actually made me pause the episode and take a break from laughing

    - So like, what up with the Dothraki? Her blood-riders are supposed to avenge Dany and then kill themselves. Not only is Jon alive (lol how) but they didn't even show what happened with the Dothraki in the epilogue?

    - Wtf happened to the people of the Reach?

    - Bran election scene was possibly the most cringey thing I've ever watched in GoT from start to finish, holy shit. It was unbearable

    - Obvs Dorne and Iron Islands are just totally cool with not being independent even though the North gets to be lol cause why not

Probs more I'm forgetting but that's basically how forgettable the finale was tbh.

My favourite moment was when Bran felt the need to have a master of whisperers.
Tbh, that whole scene was the only scene in this whole god forsaken season that felt like GoT.

And dammit did Bronn steal the show, what a classy gent xD

I don't even know where to begin with disappointment in the show. They already had a Mad Queen in Cersei and it took two seasons to get her to that point. They gave Dany two episodes? Two flipping episodes? Dany was supposed to go Mad Queen, and had it been done right, it would have been amazing.

But I can't be surprised. They destroyed so many character arcs in three episodes... at least there's still the books, if they ever get finished.

When I first started this show, I didn't know about the books. I ended up watching season 1 and then reading the remaining books as I couldn't wait to know what happened next. George.R.R.Martin and the producers of this show created an epic dragon baby and then didn't know how to take care of it. George R.R. Martin with such periods of long delays between the books and the creators of this show with rushing the last season.

A lot of people didn't like the 7th season and felt it was rushed but I still felt it was okay. Perhaps not up to the mark of its predecessors but at least it wasn't an utter failure as the 8th season. I had my doubts at the start of the season but decided to wait till the last episode to voice my opinion.

    • The first two episodes dragged it out. Too much importance was given to relationships of the past seasons but if such stakes were raised, where were the heart wrenching deaths that have been the glory of this show.
    • The third episode, Battle of Winterfell was too dark to make out anything. I get it, the Night King was the villain and the dark scenery was meant to terrify us but as a viewer, it was not a pleasant watch. Arya killing the Night King when everything in the show had made us feel that Jon would have his moment - disappointed
    • The fourth episode shows bad pacing as a result of the first three episodes. So much time showing relationships and the battle meant they had to turn Dany mad super quick. It was a 180 turn around that was barely justifiable with the death of her dragon and friend. With more time and context, this turn around could have been made more believable.
    • The fifth episode - *sigh*. It is no wonder that Emilia Clarke broke down and was depressed after reading this script. Just so much of this script didn't make sense. I understand that Dany was alone and angry at Cersei for killing her friend and dragon. Freaking take it out on Cersei. I mean if she is such a liberator and breaker of chain, doesn't she see that the people of King's landing do not know her, they have been fed propaganda and in a way are mental slaves to Cersei. Killing them because they "didn't rise up against Cersei" is moronic.
    • The sixth episode - what an absolute cluster ****. After screwing up Dany's character so much and making Jon such a disappointment by making him appear like Dany's b****, her death held no meaning. Drogon not attempting any sort of retaliation against Jon and instead melting the throne was convenient. Bran... freaking emotionless, useless Bran who claimed that he isn't lord of winterfell and doesn't want to be lord of anything becomes King because Tyrion who until now had been rooting for Dany Jon. The only saving grace of the last episode is that Sansa got the ending she deserved with the North being free. Arya sailing off to the West was decent enough. Sending Jon as a punishment to the North with no indication that the intention was to actually just make sure he is alive, free and happy is cruel and makes his WHOLE story arc pointless. For a person who sacrificed so much for the realm, being brushed aside like that.. that is messed up.

Well that is my take on the finale and this season. I just had to vent out after that stupid ending.
