    Alien [2052982]

the whole season felt very underwhelming and rushed. i mean it had it's moments but ... bleh

    UwU [2081212]

I didn't even finish the final episode. Was bored af so I did something else instead.

Also anyone notice how dragonfire was capable of blowing castles and walls to pieces the moment the dragonfire hit them but yet it took 2 long breaths for the throne to melt :|

    Indubitably [2117849]

That didn't even bother me as much as Jon killing Dany... I can already feel dumb & dumber saying "We had Jon kill her there because it symbolizes how she was so close to the throne... EXPECTATION SUBVERTED"

Can anyone explain why Drogon melted the throne as if he is intelligent enough to grasp the English language? I was expecting the cliche Drogon attacks Jon with fire but he doesn't die because he's a Targaryan... that was the worst idea I could think of but they actually found a WORSE OPTION.

Then he just flies away? Next scene is in the future with no talk of Dany? Like not even an afterthought.

soooooooo baaaaadddddddddd, I watched it with 11 other people. 1 person said it was good, and she also liked Twilight and Transformers at 25. This is the demographic that enjoys this garbage.
I liked Transformers when it came out, but I was like 15 and Megan Fox was such a babe back then.

On top of what you said the sight of hundreds to thousands of Dothraki along with the Unsullied irked me.

The cinematography in episode 3 made it abundantly clear that Danny's armies were slaughtered and there were only a few survivors at the end. Even the producers said in the insights after it aired that it was the end of the Dothraki.

Yet in episode 4 we discover that somehow... magically.. only half of her army was wiped out.

Then by episode 6 you see absolutely no signs of a depleted army. In fact they're all war ready and ready to wage more war.

And don't even get me started on battle strategy in episode 3 and the accuracy of the bolts in episode 4/5.

And what about the Lord of the Light? That's another glaring loose end in the series.

The episode was good up until dany's death imo, even though it was obvious jon would kill her, I liked the dialogue and the irony that it was her that unwittingly convinced him to.
As for Drogon I think he is smart enough to understand what is happening and him burning the throne was either a coincidence (him not wanting to burn jon and the throne just being in the way of his anger) or he intentionally destroyed.
The rest of the episode after the time skip was underwhelming.

Just another thing that makes no sense: Greyworm, the Unsullied, and the Dothraki are completely united behind Dany after the massacre and recognize her as their Queen. Then Jon kills her and instead of being enraged by it to the point of killing him and going to war against those who feel he did the right thing, they instead suddenly find it in themselves to negotiate this peaceful resolution to the situation.

That course of action goes against the barbarian nature they’ve been depicted with — especially the Dothraki, whom apparently we’re just completely overlooked following Dany’s death. And they came to this peaceful resolution within what, a day or two after she was killed? Total garbage and complete nonsense.

Eight seasons of a constant battle for the Iron Throne and then all of a sudden everyone is willing to “get along” once Cersei and Dany are gone.

Why were there so many left anyways because it showed that most of them were wiped out in the War in the North. But the whole story seemed to be cut short and condensed. Like they were given a synopsis of what was supposed to happen in the last season and they made the whole last season upon that and not with a real script.

Finale got a 4.6 rating on IMDB...

Looks like a lot of people hated it as much as me.

I just went through 100 reviews and they're basically all 1 star. Expectation subverted!

I mean, yay House Stark though, am I right?

John is gonna be "King Beyond the Wall" with the free folk, Sansa is Queen in the North, and Bran is kind of the rest of the Continent. Meanwhile, Arya is going off to conquer some new world with her Faceless Men powers (also I'm pretty sure she is the "Lord of Light" since only the Lord of Light can kill the Night King).

The throne was forged with dragon's fire, so it's impressive that Drogon was able to melt it at all.

Just realized I have 25 minutes left in the episode. I paused it so I could do something. Ended up on YouTube. Ended up on 4chan. Somehow ended up on here. Completely forgot. Completely forgettable.

I was right, Indubitably! This episode didn't deserve its own thread

I really wanted Arya to kill Dany. Having Jon kill her like that was just dumb. And they should have executed Gray Turd and, frankly, the whole Unsullied army. And the Dothraki. Those savages have no place in Westeros.

Yeah, when they showed all the Unsullied with the Dothraki hoopin' and hollerin' behind them, I was like dafuq. We watched them all die.

There were so many things wrong with the way this story was closed off, but man alive they treated the Reed family like shit lol. No satisfying end to any of that, probably has me the most upset.

    Also I guess......

    - Lol at Tyrion not being included in the story, even though his capture sparked the entire thing (and ofc he went on to do many notable things).

    - "Bran the Broken" actually made me pause the episode and take a break from laughing

    - So like, what up with the Dothraki? Her blood-riders are supposed to avenge Dany and then kill themselves. Not only is Jon alive (lol how) but they didn't even show what happened with the Dothraki in the epilogue?

    - Wtf happened to the people of the Reach?

    - Bran election scene was possibly the most cringey thing I've ever watched in GoT from start to finish, holy shit. It was unbearable

    - Obvs Dorne and Iron Islands are just totally cool with not being independent even though the North gets to be lol cause why not

Probs more I'm forgetting but that's basically how forgettable the finale was tbh.
