So im about 6 or 7 episodes in. This show is amazing. For the most part it is totally understandable how and why each character reacts to the circumstances of the show the way that they do. The horror and thrills of the show are definitely a strong theme but they are in no way what drives the show. It really is amazing.

Agree, the characters are so well written - and the way all of them are each affected just makes me want to know more

My wife and I just finished binging this series in two days as well haha. It was outstanding. Hoping for maybe another season or two in the future. I would like to see more books made into a series like this than just a movie. So much better I think.

Dude have you seen any of the "hidden" ghosts? My wife spotted our first one while watching episode 7. ItsI when the dad is pulling out the bricks in the basement, there's a white lady staring at him. Apparently theres a lot more that we missed along the way. Super creepy when you notice them though.

I only watched the first episode. My gitlfriend has been bugging me to watch it with her so ive held off. Ill make sure to get on it after reading these posts. [:smiley:]

I didn't spot any of the ghosts while watching the first time,  too on edge but I read there a quite a few so I'll have to keep an eye out the second time around

I felt like they wrapped up the ending as if there wouldn't be a second series- so in one sense I appreciate them kind of giving us closure but I would have loved a cliff hanger or something that indicated there was more. Without giving too much away or saying too much I did read an alternate ending they considered and I think that would have been perfect

I'm only three episodes in so I'm not reading anything here until I finish it but it's so good so far!

I finished 4 episodes over the weekend and loved it. Now need to find the time to finish the rest. The character development is really outstanding. And you can tell, there's just so much thought that went into pretty much every aspect of the show so far. It wasn't rushed just to get out another spooky thriller.

I binge watched it and loved it! I felt like there were a couple of things left unanswered though, unless I just missed it.. (won't post spoilers) I hope they do make a S2! :)
