Made by the same creator of [i]The Simpsons[/i] and [i]Futurama[/i], [i]Disenchanted[/i] is the newly released Netflix original animated show about a fantastical world with magic and old technology. Have you guys seen it yet? Thoughts? Personally, I wish the magic was more grounded but then it’s an animated series. Still, Futurama set high expectations for science-based fantasy plots. I like the jokes though. You can tell some of the writers are the same, like when Elfo yelled ‘what!’ After being told they had to be really quiet, a joke used by Professor Farnsworth on Futurama when they cleaned Fry’s stomach of worms.

Not a bad series. Laughed out loud a number of times. Took me a while to get to it though. I was a little skeptical of the idea at first. Netflix really needs better writers for the descriptions of films/shows. This was an enjoyable show though. And you could definitely see the influences of previous animated shows this team had worked on.
