Still keeping up with Invincible these days, the only modern show i am watching currently

finished season 1, good show so far.

"Power Book III: Raising Kanan" is a series based on the Power books. There are two other parts to the book series which was made into a show. Kanan and his drug dealer mom have to navigate life surrounded by Jamaican gangs in Queens, New York. They make money by selling drugs like cocaine and weed out on the street. His friend, Famous, and other various school friends try to stay out of trouble by singing in-state at a local club & bar. One of his female friends hid drugs in her backpack and ended up ending the life of her white girlfriend. They all live in a ghetto/hood neighborhood where gangsters travel to and from for selling drugs and music. There's frequent sex scenes (nudity), swear words, and violence. I'm only on the first second. There are a total of four seasons of which I have started the second season just yesterday. It's a really good show with the theme having one of 50 Cent's songs. It's set in the 90's on the streets of Queens, New York, so the food featured is a mix between Italian, Jamaican, and Chinese. One of the shows featured on there is "In Living Color" (with Jim Carrey and Co).

Did I tell you? It's a Starz show, so I have no idea if it's on Hulu. They have a lot of black-featured shows and movies. I enjoy watching Starz movies and the one show so far.

I have just got done with a few different shows.... Tulsa king, Landman, 1923, and currently in the middle of Lioness 

I watched all episodes put out so far and needing to watch the last two before I finish "Raising Kanan." It's very comedic like the genre stated but a small twist of horror. Ironically watched right after watching a horror movie about a priest and his brother Father that went to exorcise demons out of some women in a prison. The one woman there was fully exorcised as the rest of them and turned out to be chosen by God after him finding out that was his blood-related daughter after a demon possessed him to sleep with one of the demon-possessed women of some other time. I really love movies with exorcism as it shows how powerful the Holy Spirit is with, of course, the help of movie magic (CGI and whatnot). If you wanted to see real exorcism, there are videos on YouTube, but I haven't dare to watch any but short reels (clips).
