Seeing the popularity of last movie you watched, here is "the last TV show you watched" discussion
Edit: A small summary regarding the show premise would go a long way to help people decide whether the show is something they would be interested in
Lethal Weapon - Comedy/Crime/Drama
Based on the Mel Gibson movie with the same name, the show is about two LA detectives solving crimes, one dealing with coming to terms with age-ing and the other dealing with his tragic traumatic past.
Premise - Altered Carbon is an American dystopianscience fictioncyberpunk based on the 2002 novel of the same title by English author Richard K. Morgan. The series takes place over 250 years in the future, in the year 2384. In the future, a person's memories can be decanted in a disk-shaped device called a cortical stack, which is implanted in the vertebrae at the back of the neck. These storage devices are of alien design and have been reverse engineered and mass produced. Physical human or synthetic bodies called "sleeves" are used as vessels that can accept any stack. Takeshi Kovacs, the sole surviving soldier of those defeated in an uprising against the new world order 250 years prior a political operative with mercenary skills, wakes up 250 years after his previous sleeve is terminated. Premise: Based on the DC comic book hero, Arrow revolves around Oliver Queen, heir to multibillion dollar empire returning to Star City after 5 years of being presumed dead. While his family is curious about his mysterious absence for 5 years, Oliver Queen is secretly on a mission to save this city as the masked vigilante, Green Arrow.
Personal note - While the show has declined in quality over the seasons, the show has by far had the best villains compared to its spin-off shows (i.e Flash, DC legends of tomorrow, Supergirl). The action scenes and emotional moments are still up to the mark.
Based on the bestselling Edward St. Aubyn semi-autobiographical novels, five-part limited series "Patrick Melrose" skewers the upper class as it tracks the protagonist's harrowing odyssey from a deeply traumatic childhood through adult substance abuse and, ultimately, toward recovery.
In my opinion, it's like a posh version of 'Trainspotting' meets 'The Wolf of Wall Street'. Benedict Cumberbatch is fantastic in it. Worth a watch for those who like their TV dark and lurid.
