I dropped Guilty Crown after that dumb plot twist where the old guy is actually the childhood friend of Shu. I can tolerate bad plots but that was just terrible. Otherwise was a fun enough show. Inori is a cutie as well.



I suppose my favourite genre has to be slice of life, not because as a whole I love seeing the everyday happenings of everyday people, but because of the wiggleroom the genre gives when used with others. The SOL in Trigun isn't anywhere near the same as the SOL in Jormungand or the SOL in Ouran Koukou Host Club for example, they're all very distinct in their settings and characters.



I don't have an absolute favourite anime but some of the ones I've enjoyed the most are Hellsing Ultimate, Trigun, KonoSuba, Princess Principal, Chivalry of A Failed Knight, Spice & Wolf, and Maria the Virgin Witch.



Since you like romance, OP, the last three there actually have a fairly substantial amount of relationship building. Chivalry of A Failed Knight has the most though, literally by like episode 5 the main character and his interest are dating and it just builds further. Good show.



My anime list if anyone is curious. Most of it is things I haven't seen but there's a good 50 or so I've completed if you include some ecchi and hentai.

Slice of Life: Like goose crap in grass. They're both green, but once you've dabbled you know you've messed up. Fresh green grass include high ratings on MAL (*bleh Clannad*) and yummy lolis meant to appeal to lonely basement boys. No plot, no stakes, no excitement, just regular life. Lucky Star, Clannad, Haruhi...ehh

Harem: Live vicariously through a flat pancake main character who is meant to be a reflection of the lonely basement boy watching the show, but somehow gets all the girls and doesn't know it. Nisekoi (which is kinda good tbh), Highschoo DXD, Love Hina, To-Love-RU

Romance: Monogamy is king, much fewer people to worry about - Toradora, Your Lie in April, Sakurasou

Shonen: You know when you buy a bag of chips and it's half air and half chips? That bag of chips is like the majority of shonen: (Drink) Bleach, One Piece, Poor Man's One Piece, Fairy Fail, Narutoooo, etc. Lots of time spent on recap, plotlines not important to overarching premise...air when you wanted chips.

Sports/Cooking: I don't play many sports so I wouldn't know...Food Wars, Haikyuuuuuu, Slam Dunk

Sci-Fi: I love sci-fi. Like when the big ships go pew pew and the enemy goes boom boom. Code Geass, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Neon Genesis Evangelion

I like comedy anime the most like Slam Dunk, GTO, Gintama, Soul Eater, then theres also the garbage ones but also highly entertaining like Baka to test to.

Dragonball Super replaces GT for NO REASON LIKE WHY DO THEY JUST IGNORE THAT IT HAPPENED IT WAS CANON IT WAS REAL IT WAS MY CHILDHOOD

Toriyama said GT was a project of his staff, not him (besides the title and a few sketches), so he's not counting it as his Dragon Ball story. It's just the creator's vision.



I'm sad Gogeta was just dismissed more than anything. Would have been cool seeing Vegeta and Goku do the fusion dance instead of those ****ing Potara earrings.
