Man. Dolores. Such powerful performances from ERW and James Marsden. Pretty sure shes gonna go postal lol...

I hope she runs into the Man in Black next episode! 

I'll be disappointed if they use these sudden character-personal dramatics to divert from Dolores goal of the valley and whatever super game-changer she was going to abuse there to take over the world lol. Presuming that it isn't just the Forge, and the season doesn't end with her uploading herself into the Forge and becoming a super powered AI existing in the connections between net enabled devices. Like Jane or Wintermute, or Project 2501...Though probable Maeve is more likely to finish the season following that pattern.

I actually think Dolores won't reach the Valley, I feel like this season has been building up to her downfall, making her seem as 'bad' as the humans she is trying to destroy, while Maeve has been built up to be the host who actually has empathy, and a higher emotional intelligence. But who knows! Looking forward to see how it all plays out and I'm curious to see where they'll go next season! 

It seems like they are trying to imply that William was a ost all along. Perhaps he was made by ford in some way to get investments into the park. 

Yeah I'm not sure about that one, I'm nore inclined to think that he's just a shitty person, and now he's trying to convince himself he was a host all along to try to feel better about his choices, but again we'll see what the final brings!

Although If he is a host, I did wonder if James Delos had him created in the early days because he knew Logan would be useless at taking over the company, and he wanted someone more ruthless.

I can't bring myself to believe nobody, including elsie, and Dolores before she remembered all her memories, suspected or detected bernard was a host. Due to his rank, the nature of his work, his relationship with Ford, and his robotic personality lol. He'd be my #1 suspect!

I don't think in the timeline that the technology was available to make William special so early. And certainly not by James Delos, but maybe later by Ford. But; considering we never see William age between the younger and older actor in memory - in the memory of his wife's suicide (but we know memories can be created and implanted) the older actors host body is made to look younger for the purposes of deceptive memory implant?  - i can't ignore the possibility that the William we watched was made the day before season 1 episode 1, but already old and experienced and able to access more of his memories than most (on purpose?). I also think westworlds William was the original William that Ford was messing with, or the tragic events and his character progression don't carry much weight lol...isnt it less tragic if host William who thinks he's real William, and appears to be real William, kills his own daughter? Perhaps?

Regarding the ending; i think we see a post season 2 test-William emerging from the original Forge into a newly built reception, and then investigated by a host. I think after season 2 the hosts are in control of westworld and need for some reason to retest advanced forms of William over and over in order to discover something about humanity or depravity, or something lol. 

I guess thinking about it further, we saw real William rescued at the end on a stretcher. So maybe in the future hes still trying to create a synthetic host almost-clone but not actually him so his "existence and purpose" can continue..?

I didn't understand the finale at all .. none of it made any sense to me. The whole second season was a huge disappointment. Season 1 was great .. season 2 was a complete let down. 

I thought Delores reasoning to get to the Valley Beyond was a little weak, she considered it a weapon because she wanted to know more/study the humans, but she had 30 years of experience and had even built and tuned Bernard herself to live among humans. 

But I did like the story behind the Door and why all the hosts were in the lake.

I need to rewatch it at some point to see if there were any hints I missed that Hale was Delores in the present timeline but will definitely wait a few months, I found a lot of the middle episodes hard to get through this season, too many repetitive shoot up scenes. 

All in all I enjoyed it but didnt think it was anywhere near as good as the first season.

Season 1 was one of the best seasons of TV I've ever watched.

Season 2 just tried way way too hard, imo. Huge expectation placed upon itself and it just didn't deliver - for me at least.

I think season 2 needs to be watched over again. Although my DVR thingy first it died then they sent the wrong type then the newone messed up and I thought it was dead when there was a storm and the internet was having a problem and the rest of the television. Then it was not working for days. So I do not have them all. 



Though it did seem to lack and jump around too much. Where the first season at the end the show could ahve eneded there and be fine. Though with this they are trying to set up too much fr the next season it seems that it did not get to where it probably should.
