The thing is he did a bad job at Star Trek then he was bad at Star Wars. In Star Trek he could not get the feeling right and the starting scene in The Force Awakens seemed more like a scene in a Star Trek movie than Star Wars. The choreography of it and how it was playing out.

Then the whole thing of let us have a death star planet. That was just so much trying to do the same old thing for no reason. Also why were there only x-wings. You would want Y-Wings to drop ion bombs or use ion cannons against the generators.

Then the thing is too much time passed between the movies and you would think that the positions of the first order and rebellion or whatever they were calling it would have been a bit different and that they would not be an even much smaller group of rebels or so it seemed.

Dare I suggest that JJ Abrams is the Jar Jar Binks of the directing world? Is there a possibility that his initials stand for Jar Jar?

I can no longer watch things that have become a franchise and what you get never looks like the one on the poster.

Why stop him from making it? If people really don't want it, wouldn't it be a bigger lesson to let him waste millions of dollars and then not show up to watch it? Wouldn't that be a bigger kick in the ego? Hell, not watching could ruin his rep forever.

Case and point: The recent going-ons of Shai LaBeouf's film career.

    Yes, I'm mental.

    No, it's okay.
