Yeah, I heard this was pretty garbage. They should have kept going with the Amazing Spiderman series. Andrew Garfield was a great Peter Parker/Spiderman, the storylines were well-done, the villains were well-done, and the production value was fantastic.
This one, from what I heard, was just full of PC SJW crap.

Garfield was the wrong actor IMO and honestly I don't know anyone personally that liked either movie. I haven't seen the new one yet but it doesn't look too good either.

Seriously though, everyone I know liked Tobey as SM and disliked the professor looking Garfield hanging around high school. Not to mention Garfield isn't a good actor to start with. Box office seemed to like Tobey way more also :)
